First, people have to stop saying the wildly abused term 'making money' because in reality, no one is actually making their own money. They sell themselves as a timely commodity to meet an agreeable interest for invisible contracts. While we feel responsible with the accessibility it grants, money has become no different than the impersonal voucher for a more accomplished life; not a deserved one. The working man is truly a sucker (if he mixes pleasure with power).
Okay then, 2'd for the uneducated presumption that nobody here has a job in graphic design. I'd be surprised if not a lot of people here are using their skills to make sites on YTMND in a professional setting. (extra star ONLY because you're not the one sponsoring it. Otherwise I'd make 400 alts just to downvote this)
a little delewded to think economic comfort equals pleasure. I've had money - a comfortable career, four star restaurants five nights a week, constant concerts and shows, all the kind and booze a man could want, and the accumulation of utter crap. for what it's worth, I'm much happier these days, being broke.
You hit the nail right on the head when you identified me, Lego. I'm under 24yrs and still in college. And while i've only done summer jobs since i was 15 like working the state fair or lifeguarding, i understand that money doesn't mean, guarantee, or give you anything. My point in making this site was that you guys who are really good at making good sites, and who turn them out several times a week, must not have time for anything else, like a real job. But that's a mass, probably wrong, assumption. So it's funny. maybe.
