How to View Cross-Eyed Stereoscopes

This will not work with 3D glasses. I recommend fullscreen, and standing back usually makes it a bit easier to focus on. I made this entirely with GIMP, no 3D rendering software. If you can't see it in 3D or want to know how I made this send me a message.

Yeah, unfortunately the only way to make it easier on the eyes is to put the images closer together. However then they wouldn't converge properly.

Awesome. The black circle in the middle pops out the furthest for me. It actually looked like it was out past my hands when I put them up.

That's interesting. To me it doesn't even look like it extends beyond the screen. I suppose the amount of depth you perceive may depend on the person, that never occured to me.

Stereoscopes like this have been around as long as photography has. It's just this new polarized-filter shutter whatchamahoodgit technology that makes it possible to stare at them for a long time without getting a headache :)

I can't get this to work properly for me, but I've never been good with these....

You really have a knack for instruction, though. The guide at the bottom here looks rather professional.
