dimmu is awsome. there is no "chugging is this "f"ing song. the drums are sweet, and sorry if some people like string arrangments and not just blaring noise! with that said, Emperor is king.

Although they kick ass, they're certainly not true black metal, symphonic black metal i'd say, more classically influenced and often more melodic. True black metal is often more primitive, but badass none the less. I would have chosen Gorgoroth.

the only dimmu borgir song that can 'rock out' to....but real black metla isnt supposed to do that... and satyricon>immortal>dimmu borgir and the album is Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, and its the 2nd track....hehe

Whoah...Whoa....Dimmu Borgir isn't "kvlt" or "tr00" but they're not as bad as OMC, and DEFINITELY not as bad as Cradle Of Filth. They're more like symphonic death metal anyway. :)
