And regarding the question from someone else if someone who never knew God .. or a peaceful Buddhist Monk goes to hell -- the bible actually says no one goes to heaven until the judgement .. and during the judgement every knee will bow. Some believe that to mean, that everyone will have the opportunity to accept God after seeing God for theirself. It would still be the person's decision. Those who don't accept are left to their own devices, which will innevitably be overtaken by human evils (hell).
I've accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I understand your need to encourage and share. But I feel a sense of anti-Catholicism, and I worry it ruins your message. Remember, it is God's place to judge not ours. For what it's worth, I'm a non-denominational Christian. I'm not big on organized religion, but do love the teachings of Jesus and understand the importance of Christian fellowship.
I'm not too much into this sort of stuff -- but despite what others say, your logic is fine. It doesn't "prove" God, but it is a sound reason to believe in God. Very interesting.
@vaporizedbab: It's not that easy -- religion doesn't put on a "blind cap" on everything it can't explain. That's just it, to the believer, their religion Does explain everything. That's why religion is so appealing to so many. Religious explanations just usually choose to ignore science when conflicts happen. I still find it funny that this movie is causing so much anger, lol.
