well, Gordon Freeman is definitely hell a lot better than Master Chief, that's a given, but the "best video game hero of all time"? I'm not quite sure...
probably because it had a ton of glitches, I mean it WAS a launch title for dreamcast. The really unfortunate thing is that SEGA never took the time to fix the glitches in SA2 or any other 3D sonic game. They either kept the glitches or added more :P
I LOVED Sega back in the day up to Dreamcast. Loved them just as much as I loved Nintendo, but the US Sega Saturn ads were horribly pathetic, bashing the competition like the saturn WAS the best and WOULD come out on top. How wrong they were! LOL
Still, I wish I got a Saturn back then but I already had a "plaything" and a "pretendo" 64.
