Because I was lazy and kept telling myself I'd actually go put some effort into it but never got around to it since it quickly dropped off the Up And Coming a year and a half ago, and the fad was already played out by that point.

Cancel worked best on traditional Windows 9x desktops too, but I'm pretty sure hitting Cancel is decidedly less epic -- and remember, the epic maneuver is pretty much unnecessary to accomplish the goal. :p
rofl not saying I used to do THIS EXACT THING way back in 98 to get past our crappy restricted desktop access over a Novell Network, but I did. -_- Four for nostalgia.
