This made me giggle far too much.

Thank you very much. One of the things that helped the earlier FF titles was the sprites allowing people to imagine the heroes as they wished, rather than making them realize that the main characters were all angsting pretty boys. Not like that doesn't work once, but that many games in a row gets a little problematic. Kinda odd, considering that most of the art by Yosh*taka Amano (the sole artist up till 6, if memory serves) shows the heroes as even more pale and effeminate than in earlier games.

Frankly, I haven't played 7 yet, so I'm not terribly qualified to comment. My favorite is actually the original FF3, especially with the new DS release. 10's sphere grid was an intriguing way of leveling up, and that earned it a place of respect for me.

I have that recording too, actually . . . I'd probably try doing that one at some point, except the English lyrics mean that for most viewers, the song wouldn't cycle quite as well. Call me an aesthetic wonk, if you will.

If you'll kindly look at the credits, you'll notice that I wasn't the one to come up with this graphic. I simply saw the original page and thought it would be neat to try it with the vocals, as performed for the "Final Fantasy VI: Grand Finale" soundtrack. I'm sorry to disappoint.

And yes, I realize now that the story was probably done as a joke, in which case, hey, I just got hoodwinked. But it was a good catharsis after a really crappy day. Oh, well.

Yeah, this one made me cry. It might be the late hour, but ... good choice of music, touching story. Thanks for sharing.

Fived for being the only one that didn't have that annoying table-slap graphic.

Just because two ideas -can- be mixed together, doesn't mean that they -should- be.

If Cain were any indication, I'd guess Satan's just more wily in his delegation ability.

Uhm ... just a word of advice on the English of the day? When using a verb with the word "thou", the verb conjugates to have an -est ending, not an -eth (used for he or she). Thus, "Thou acceptest," not "thou accepteth." Just thought you ought to know.

Interesting ... personally, I've always looked at it not so much that God is where the little unexplainable mysteries are, but is instead in everything (not just the gaps). But then, I'm also a heretic who doesn't see a problem with God using evolution to fit His means.

Hey, dude? That's not the L. Ron Hubbard Library. That's the Mormon temple in Nauvoo, Illinois, burning in the 1840s.
