Also I think this movie will focus more on the already grudge with Harry and Spider-Man out to get The Sandman. I read on wiki that in this film Brock's gf starts falling in love with Peter so that would build for a great fight in the next movie.

It makes sense that it is the final scene. At the end of one of the episodes in the cartoon Spider-Man loses the suit at the bell tower then it finds Brock and that was the end of the episode then it goes into a series. I think Venom is just too important to be the third villain in this movie. They need atleast one or two movies with him as the main villain to give him justice.
