I am so glad someone saluted this guy. He probably changed civilization more than any single person with this invention. This chemical was the spearhead for the counter culture of the sixties. Without him rock music would be totally different. He caused people to question the very state of reality itself.
That is one of my favorite episodes. You have to watch Shatner acting like a woman. Too much! Especially when he wakes up in sick bay. He didn't grab his crotch though.
