Where there was Motown, there is now Insane Clown Posse and Kid Rock. All the comedy has been outsourced; Now they put this dumb shit on YouTube, and if you remove the sound, Twitter. This used to be the kind of website that led to CNN headlines ( http://yahooracists.ytmnd.com/ ), called out ebaumsworld on their theft ( http://fuckericbauman.ytmnd.com/ ) and even crashed their servers (search ebaums world, there's endless screenshots of their dead server page).
A center of great thinkers and internet revolution, it ain't. But it used to be much more diverse, funny, and important (on an internet scale anyway). Thank you for the civil discourse. You may have inspired me to start making YTMNDs again.
