Naw, only he is like that. You can't disagree with Alex Jones. To be fare, if you've followed his career from the beginning you can tell he's only a "bull" because he's mimicking the big TV stations reporters. He used to complain that when he was asked on for interviews they "never let him get his points in" etc. His whole operation is based on mimicking the bigger TV stations production to try to reach the dominant audience.
The sad thing about any sort of political discourse is that it's governed by laws of propositional logic which is really easy to over ride if you've studied it in school/books/where ever. Fighting over which flavor of ice cream is better can be won by the person well versed in these laws of logic. It's University level political philosophy type stuff, the general public doesn't understand, hell, "educated" don't even understand it.
I agree with you. They should have just left linux on there like they advertised. Being a programmer myself, it was a steal of a deal to buy a 200$ cell processor to add to any sort of network cluster I would be fooling around with. If you look at the trends of Piracy on consoles, it begins with the linux gurus finding a way to run linux on a machine but then the bad guys take said technology and use it for other means.

When a PS3 is in service mode it allows you to enter the Sony network because it thinks you are a certified Sony service person. Well guess what, Sony knew about this for almost a year now ! They knew about the jailbreak usb dongle, they knew about geohots cwf, they knew about kmeows cfw, yet they did jack shit nothing to protect their customers, instead ruthlessly spreading anti "hacker" (more like people that just want to run linux and not bother anyone) propaganda on all their channels to "fear the hacker" when they should have updated their security. If your works building is on fire shouldn't your boss tell you ? If your health is at risk shouldn't your doctor let you know? Fuck Sony.
The irony of it is that THEY fucked up. All the credit card data was sent UNPROTECTED and NO ENCRYPTED. They blame it on "hackers" but all the hackers did was send fake credit card number to buy psn games. The information breach is entirely unrelated.
PS3 sent credit card info unencrypted, meaning anyone with a packet sniffer (this is very common tool for programmers/network people) could see your data. An example of what this looked like is : "http://www.psn.com/store?creditcard=Visa&creditcard_number=1 234567". THEY fucked up, not any "hacker" IE: 2 guys using rebug CFW to put a regular ps3 into service mode and tunnel into their network. It's a witch hunt , but that's what all fine mega corperations do when they fuck up, blame someone else.

I don't understand why we don't contract the military industry to lead the development of space programs. These people obviously want bazillions of dollars, what difference is it if the media use propaganda to make tax payers think we need a war, and the media making space exploration the focal point for tax dollars. It would be even easier to convince them as our fate as a species relies on us transforming other planets.
