Nobody can be sure of ANYTHING, its about belief, you pick an explanation and go with it, we do this all the time. I consider myself an atheist because I think its failry obvious that all religion is created by man to make life easier, and not because its true, the lack of evidence of religeon and the fear of death in man point to this. I could just as easily tell someone that I was God and offer no evidence. I dont consider myself agnostic because even though I cant know for sure, Im all but sure.
I dont get all the bashing about that guys comment, I mean connections are commonly referred to as 'pipes', from a metaphorical point of view, series of tubes is a decent analogy of the internet, dumbed down obviously for people to understand it
