"Gaat delen door de doorsnee, uiteraard is die twee keer de straat
Dan komt er een quotient, ja mag ik even stilte in de zaal
Vaak zegt met tweeentwintig zevende maar dat is te globaal
In feite is het twee pi r en dat is lang niet zo banaal
Het blijkt dat pi irrationeel is en daarbij transcenataal
En een computer heeft het uitgerekend, is dat niet geniaal
Tot in de weet ik veel hoeveelste decimaal"

Na deze woorden onderbrak hij spastisch hijgend zijn gepraat
En er verscheen een onrustbarend kleurenspel op zijn gelaat
Dus ik begon al rond te kijken naar een zuurstofapparaat
Maar hij bedaarde en hervatte zijn verhandeling kordaat
"Er is een andere formule, die is ook niet van de straat
