"Hip Hop is dying, which actually used to be a decent genere of music back when they could actually make an orignal song." - Interpol ...BACK WHEN hip-hop first started out, every beat out there was derived from looped cuts and drum breaks "stolen" from old jazz, funk, or disco tracks. Synths and live instrumentation didn't gain prominence until the mid-90's, earliest. Don't pretend you love the genre's "oldschool" variant when you clearly hate the tools used to create it.
