Once a mute, wandering vagabond on the run from her father and his designs for her future, Cassandra attempted to find refuge within Gotham City following the devastating earthquake that leveled the city. Working for Oracle as an informant, and then coming under the attention of Batman, Cassandra found purpose and a new future as a hero of Gotham City and one of Batman's apprentices. I've loved this scene from Batman Forever since I first saw it. Jim Carrey's Riddler is so flamboyant and wonderful and I kind of adopted the character as my online persona for a while. Gif is from that scene.

Darkseid (Uxas) is a fictional supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer-artist Jack Kirby, the character first made a cameo in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #134 in November 1970 before officially debuting in Forever People #1 in February 1971.[1] He is the tyrannical ruler of the planet Apokolips whose ultimate goal is to conquer the universe by eliminating all hope and free will in sentient beings.[2] A New God and one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe, Darkseid serves as a staple Superman villain and the archenemy of the Justice League.
