I've left this on loop for like ten times now. I just stopped everything I was doing and really started contemplating that I've been here for twenty years.<br /><br />Every time I get together with houseofcards (my real life younger brother), it's no exaggeration that 10% or so of pur conversations relate to dumb YTMND anti-fad in-jokes/shitposts/dumb site ideas that we should have made back in the day when the iron was hot. <br /><br />It's weird because 2011 was exactly the point in which I finally got my shit together, went back to college, and got a proper job and some semblance of a normal life. I can pass pretty well as a normie now, and there have been times at work where some guys are talking about YTMND on Slack and I'm so tempted to out myself as one of the more infamous shitposters but I never do.<br /><br />I love this place and you guys so much. I never want this place to die. I may have axed pretty much every aspect of my internet life pre-2011, but YTMND will forever live rent free in my head.

I love high resolution lewd smut, Final Fantasy 7 rendered in 3d ,& Megazeux with it's 8 color graphics but all three of these genres are so incompatible that it comes off as weird . Especially since there are no lava levels in Final Fantasy that look like this and the Asian porn meme it is referencing had him spinning on top of the ninja lady like a helicopter instead of a robotic can spinning in place.

Yo, another fourth universe, I wonder what's going to be when I get to see different versions of Lol Internet, What is Love, NEDM, NSMB, and other known fads. My few personal favorites for both the sites and alternate fads are CRAPTMND, PTKFGS (of course), Typing Noises, and YHTMOAG. I might include DYFWM but there's no fads of it I can find on what it looks like except for DYFWM: rofl, internet since this is the only one I can find pretty much.

You know, for a while, a couple of years ago, max invited me to the private developer channel where he hangs out in Discord. You know what he's doing in there? Wow, this YTMND really hit me right in the nostalgia feels. The music is very nice, and the way the content explores the bittersweet beauty of love and loss is both poignant and relatable. It's a reminder of the good old days when YTMND was the internet's playground, and I can't help but feel grateful for having experienced it during its heyday. This site is nice.
