I love your new site visuals. It is very clean and easy to understand. It is also beautiful.<br /><br />I also want to express my sympathy for your piriformis syndrome.<br /><br />I had a thought. What if you told us YTMNDers how much all the new server upgrades cost? I am sure that there are some here who would like to help by donating. That includes myself. Until I get hired by someone, I can only give a small amount now.

Max, I thought you were going to keep the Minecraft server up, but from what you said I will lose the opportunity to meet people there, people who even use this website. For example, yesterday I was very excited when I found out that a YTMND user was in the world. I wanted to talk to him and play with him a little bit. I'm new at Minecraft so everything about it looks new and beautiful, especially the fact that I can interact with real people. Of course, there's always the real world but it's my choice if I want to go and play in a virtual world. Besides, I'm most probably the only Italian active user here and I bet most of you live in the States, in any case far from that shithole that is Italy, and I wanted to see what is like to play with one of you, without having my words dismissed in an indistinguishable cloud of forced unfunny jokes and pitiful self promotion. I think it's acceptable here to have this behaviour, we can all be characters here. But in Minecraft, how much does a fake and shady "personality" last? In the 3D world you are more human than in a webpage.<br />The impending closure of that Minecraft server will make me reflect about the importance of the real world not based on a computer. There's no switch off for the Universe.

I don't know why people automatically assume that this is racist. There is a difference between racial stereotyping and racism. Moonman is racist. Its very negative and hateful. Acknowledging that beans and cornbread is a staple of southern African American cuisine is not at all racist. As for blackface, yes, wearing blackface is extremely racist, but thats not why its funny. Blackface is funny because it is so horribly out-dated. It's not acceptable in our time period to wear blackface. It's completely taboo. The fact that no one in the 30's thought that blackface was offensive is hilariously ironic (especially considering how overly sensitive we are to racial humor in the 21st century).

Way to over dramatize an obvious joke/pun/whatever. They think they're the smartest place on the internet, they are for sure the most unfoundedly (not a word, don't care-->reddit would flip tit shits at a spelling/grammar error, but chances are the person who made it does not give a fuck) arrogant place on the internet. When they link a youtube video and people comment about reddit, 2 people will make posts like "reddit is evil and you will get viruses when you go there, i did." They assume that every single dumb youtuber will go to reddit and like it and ruin. In reality they only people who will go there from youtube and actually use it will be the antisocial, socially retarded people who fit in perfectly with the people who already use it. Yeah they do some good things like give people money and jobs and help and stuff, but mostly it's a crap hole and they themselves are assholes for thinking the way they do about how superior they are because they use reddit. In conclusion regarding your argument with lickit that i skimmed, they should post ytmnds all they want because it helps keep this site alive, but they should make it clear that they are not the site maker if they are not, and they should never steal the gif without giving credit. They should beware of what happened to ebaums for stealing lindsay lohann, but perhaps there is currently no retribution to fear because ytmnd is dying, but maybe our alliance with 4chan in war could be rekindled just like when the elves decided to help man again against the orcs at the battle of helms deep. I hate reddit. I respect gr33nscr33n more than reddit, he's just a troll who probably doesn't relate much of his real life to ytmnd, whereas redditors wish they were trolls whose lives don't revolve around ytmnd,

"confidence is fake, girls only like douchebags, girls never like nice guys, it's impossible to get a gf" and like 90% of the users agree (as well as 90% of users agree with any thread that is big). Seriously these people are more hopeless than 4channers, 4channers will at least rape chicks or get hookers or know the reason they "can't" get a gf is because either they don't care or know they are unappealing to most girls. Another thing related to 4chan there will be a single reddit thread about a single FBF (foul bachelor frog), and tons of people will go omg me too me too....etc and chances are that this is stolen from 4chan or somewhere else online or a repost, whereas on 4chan you get a thread of hundreds of FBFs (very often original content) and people save what they agree with or whatever and few are like oh wow that's me but most just look for themselves. Redditors need internet validation/compliments (karma) because they don't get any in real life because they are completely socially incompetent. Obviously not all redditors are like this, i'm just saying on average, and yes i did just pretty much say that i respect 4channers more than redditors (wtf 4channers is not a misspelled word according to firefox, yet firefox is). Most of their real lives revolve around being antisocial by using reddit. Also they are all complete far left liberals and think everything they think is right. Honestly the best choice is the middle, every thing is best in moderation. But these "intelligent, genius, most morally correct" people would rather blindly go to one side because that's what "all educated people believe." Another thing i hate is all there blatantly obvious (or witty as they would refer to them) being praised as godly. Ex. "Aliens vs Cowboys starring Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig (popsicle) looks awesome" first reply: daniel, we're gonna have company; replies to that "

I hate reddit with a passion. I shall take some time to elaborate. You will probably agree with me on all of it. First off I'll admit I view reddit Minecraft because idk where else to get update information (don't use twitter or tubler) and i like seeing all the crazy stuff people have made and i like when they post like a server that's a maze that i can go in and try to make it through, but this is the only thing i do on that site. 2nd I only know it exists because my roommates last year used it and talked about it all the time. Literally all the time. They'd reload their front pages like every ten minutes but for sure every time they got on the computer. A bunch of times they would read posts or view pictures about how engineers have no time to ever do anything and my roommates (engineers) would agree, yet they all seem to have time (tons of redditors are engineers) to reload the front page tons of times. Sometimes they would show me a gif and i'd be like oh i saw that a long time ago on ytmnd. A lot of reddit is posting links to sites and stuff, but it pisses me off when they post a gif from a ytmnd instead of just linking to the ytmnd (this probably happens with tons of other image sites as well). Half the posts/threads/whatevers on there just come up once a month. I'll digress with an example my friend who is sent reddit links from his other friend saw the "this is a wasp, he will fuck shit....." and thought it was the most amazing thing ever I had already seen it like a year ago and he was like oh. I understand that reposts can be funny if you have never seen them, which i'm sure there's a bunch of people who haven't, but give the credit to the original post or replace reposts with the old one. Like YTMND if someone resposts a site seriously they get deleted/terrible rating/the original site linked; maybe they need to have some kind of archive to stop this cuz it's retarded. There's like a thread once a week "confi

If I have the remaining time, I'll be fixing up the admin panels and possibly adding some new mods.<br /><br />So this is your chance to complain about anything (aside from the design) that's been bugging you recently or stuff you've been dying for.<br /><br />I'll keep you guys updated over the next few weeks in between eating handfuls of adderall. Have it be known that the 40 or so comments made on here tonight stem from a site created by eightbitprodigy. It was a good site. It was well-made and it had a few harmless jokes thrown in it. It had a 4.32 rating until it was hammered by all the gr33nscr33n alts I mentioned. I don't know why he did it. It's not like he was countering anything, since eightbitprodigy, to my knowledge, has never used alts in any way. I honestly don't know how much Umfuld contributed to it, but there is a confirmed Nothingman vote within the site's comments. Here's the site where you will find blatant evidence of cheating with alts in the comments:<br /><br />[site maxdestroysytmnd:site]<br /><br />Going back a couple weeks, here's another comment page with massive amounts of cheating:<br /><br />http://ytmnd.com/sites/953046/profile<br /><br />Umfuld is simply spewing out his hate for me, calling for a ban or a deletion. And his excuse is because I'm not voting the way he thinks I should on specific sites. He can call it trolling if he wants, but there is such a thing as freedom, so he doesn't really have a case. And he complains when I bring his name up...well, you've banned him from commenting once before, so you probably know that he does this type of thing all the time too - bringing up people he hates in conversations. Me, lacrossestar83, DarthWang, wisdumcube (2008-2009 era), etc. <br /><br />Want to fix YTMND? Get rid of the alts, get a new contest started, and rejuvenate your razor with your Razor Gator.

However, I dislike ambitious politicians who sink to lowest level and use borderline violent rhetoric to motivate hot heads. I hate knowing the stupid plain truth that when Obama is no longer president that the tea party groups and the violent knuckleheads will disappear overnight. I grew up seeing people behaving badly under Clinton because well placed demagogues in the media funnel their misplaced rage to garner the support from angry voters.

I pointed out this problem a few comments up:<br />http://ytmnd.com/news/109/c59028<br />http://ytmnd.com/news/109/c59038<br /><br />It's just that I personally don't like to name names. But I don't condemn it, everyone has a right to speak, reasonably or not. It's up to us to judge if something deserves to be considered.<br />When I talked about improving the general mood I must have been too generic. You can improve the mood of the community indirectly: pointing out the trolling is a very good start. But I must remind what we already know: that every reference to trolls makes the trolls stronger, and there's no way to get rid of them if not with some extreme measures, which don't necessarily need to be permanent. I believe this site is now a machine that has a broken gear; unfortunately we, as simple users, can't replace it.<br />Some comments ago I suggested the community should unite and work together and stop making wars. But some users told me that it seems impossible, because there are so many differences, even about whether noise sites are good or not (and that should be a no-brainer, in my opinion.)

Though I'm still seeing a huge amount of finger-pointing, I like the way I'm learning some info about you users, not by what idea you have of the others, but by how you express yourselves. To me it seems pretty easy to know when your arguments are justifiable and when you're just a stream of blather, like "I hit everything that moves, I don't care if I miss it, I have to do it anyway." What I don't see, unfortunately, is someone who is available to discuss objectively how to, at least, improve the general mood. Recently, I've seen a great positive response from Senor Data, and my memory came back where creativity was valued as such. Things like Senor Data are not fads per se, but open places in which you know the subject of the work you're going to create.<br />Someone is still suggesting or wishing some particular users as mods. I believe that moderators don't actually have an opinion on what they're moderating, they just follow a specific set of rules, so that they can reduce any misunderstanding. For example: a mod has to remove any picture containing people with a specific eye color.<br />Finally, I believe YTMND is less than a social network and more of a showcase. Imagine a big empty stage, open to everyone. There are enough microphones for anybody and you can:<br />A) jump on stage and make the sound you want contributing to a supposed "wall of sound";<br />B) make a mess.<br />It's all about what choice you believe you're making.

gr33nscr33n and I already agreed that there are still good sites on the front page. The only difference is now there are some good sites, whereas before there were hardly any. Before, bad sites were going to be on the Up and Coming anyway, because there weren't enough good sites to fill it. My voting has made extremely little difference.<br /><br />"Just a week or two ago, just for fun, I decided to change my votes on 4 sites. Two sites about me, one about darthwang that was really stupid and bad and a moonman site. At the time they were just off UnC and afterward they were all high up, a couple high on Top Rated."<br /><br />You changed your vote from a 1 to a 5 and you're surprised at how big of a difference it made? Giving a 5 to begin with has a much smaller effect.<br /><br />If you're thinking it's a chore to downvote dumb sites I 5 as a joke, then don't. Voting 1 on a site rated 4.30 (for example) makes a much greater difference than voting 5 on it. You can counteract me and lower its score tremendously in one swoop by voting 1, as you would anyway.<br /><br />So then, I think I've made some pretty good points. Go ahead and call me a douche and a cancer patient all you like, but please refute these points as well. If you don't, I'll assume you can't.<br /><br />To recap:<br />1. Good sites are now being made, and are getting recognition. Even this site you made, which you and gr33n believed (with good cause, I'll admit) would be targeted by your arch-enemies is getting some pretty good exposure by YTMND 2.0 standards, because it's good.<br />2. The whole point of the Clone War was to be a big show to scare the Galaxy straight to prepare for the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. Clones were used by the Republic to be a closed loop, people who could die and make the war look significant, yet who had no loved ones to relay how the war was really progressing. The Separatists used droids for similar reasons. Republic accounts of the Separatist military, in addition, was vastly overstated. Instead of the quintillions of battle droids they claimed to possess, they probably never exceeded 500 million over the course of the entire war. By keeping the military branches all but absolutely cut off from the population as a whole, there was no chance of the public learning of the true nature of the war. Under direction of Chancellor Palpatine, the CIS intentionally attacked insignificant star systems, drawing Republic troops into open fights. The Republic believed this was an attempt to drain morale and will, but it was actually a deliberate strategy intended to keep the fighting away from critical sectors as much as possible. The few attacks on industrial centers were only conducted to give the impression of a change of hands, while the profits of the war effort were still channelled into the same places. What's more significant is that the transactions that allowed these proceedings were hardly concealed, Banking Clan documents and shipyard paperwork was all open for scrutiny, yet few took the time to exercise their scrutiny. <br /><br />Therefore, I can conclude that JJJ, Umfuld, G3N, and UNC are all either in cahoots with each other, or more likely yet, the same person.

***when i was thinking of how to make my own seenior data site, i came up with a bunch of stuff.<br /><br />as usual, i wanted to somehow make it a mockery/criticism of how beyond gay the whole sentiment really is (as usual).<br /><br />one of the first reconceptualizations that pooped into my dumbass head was "hey... i could like open after effects and make an orb thing" but i said no because i just did that for my actual job so then next i was like "i could do a cube thing, and each of the 3 visible sides of the cube could be like a different thing" and that's what i thought.<br /><br />at first i was reeeaaallly trying to think outside the box. i thought on one cube site i could have like a forest overlay over the data image, and then on another side i could have a starry sky space overlay, then on the other cube site there could be like a rapidly moving cloud overlay. ya know, like all different art themes. but then i was like "wait, this is too complicated" so i thought "EACH SIDE OF THE CUBE COULD BE DIFFERENT COLORS!!" and then i was like "woah" but i never made it.<br /><br />i'\m glad you made this though. you added the numbers and it's like a clear indication that you were thinking way better than i was.
