I suppose stereotype is another word I could have been looking for.

Thank you for whatever credit you wish to direct my way, negative or positive, but I can't help but feel dissapointed for your pessimism in regards to YTMND and its potential for fostering and hosting original content.

Additionally, it's worth noting that this site would never exist without Max looping a segment of a feature film. This site is hardly based upon total originality, although it does provide a platform for people to take advantage of and express themselves, if only through exploiting footage of Home Alone 2™.

tl;dr I'M GONNA KILL THAT KID

My comment about Rodheh wasn't based on him making that one site, but after reading his comments and watching his sites over the last few months. Don't know why you haven't figured that out. I mean I am giving you the benefit of the doubt you are as intelligent as you brag to everyone on the internet you are.

It's been so long since I've seen MeatWad here, I forgot about him until I saw his name brought up on that site so I wouldn't call him a regular (his user activity shows that). Maybe he posts under a different name. The question still hasn't been answered is why the fuck would anyone on YTMND care about what happened to someone on facebook? No one fucking cares (outside of you) that meatwad trolled rodheh on facebook. Funny how you missed the part were you ripped on me on facebook and I would have never known if Gary hadn't posted this.

Wow. So you saw a 200x200 pixel little nothing of a thumbnail and that is the whole basis for your laughable claim that you called Rodheh out? Well, at least you are not as retarded as a name based voter (well, maybe just a few IQ points better into 'learning disabled')

You see, you really don't know what you are talking about. At all. In any way. No one is having anything said about them behind their backs. If you pulled your head out of your ass you would see that the person being talked about is clearly a YTMND regular, even going so far as to create a group called "YTMND Superstars". Considering that the site was on the front page for almost a week and considering that he likely comes to YTMND often, it is quite reasonable to assume he saw it.

well, I think you made some good points regarding the rules. I personally never was too fond of rules limiting creativity. However, I think voting with alt accounts is not the same as some arbitrary creative standards. In effect, sites are not scored completely based on how much people like it, but also relating to how some dishonest person will upvote their sites with alt accounts and maybe get their friends to do the same, or that same kind of person would do a big block of revenge downvoting on a perfectly good site.

I don't really consider the examples you posted of Max to be trolling. Large corporations and copyright holders tried to sue him on account of what various YTMND users have done, not Max personally. Max, legally, is protected by various things, like how his site is satire. I think Max posting these battles in Meeboo does not consist of trolling either. He was simply pointing out greedy corporate douchebags who thought they could take advantage of a young man. I think Max is a hero for standing up to such reptiles who make extensive use of the legal abominations known as 'copyright infringements'

The Moebius Strip effect of the comic probably is a large factor in my enjoying the strip as much as I do.

Additionally I am intrigued by the fashion in which we perceive one-another, snap decisions about people that are largely subconscious and based upon race, clothing, gender, etc.

So blanket 4-starring sites is fair? With you obscuring your activities, there's really no way of knowing if that's what you actually believe is a fair vote or not.

Voting based on user is fair? Even though I've lost a little bit of respect for you here, I will continue to vote your sites on their own merit. IIRC, I think I just 4's your recent DeNiro site (which I thought was pretty funny). Like I said, I like a lot of your sites.

Seriously, this isn't really personal. I just wanted you, and others, to be aware of what you're doing. This shit just doesn't look kosher. If you're worried about what people think about you, this sort of behavior is the last thing you want to do.

Fuck the spammers, trolls, and NARVs. I believe in the YTMND voting system, and you should to. Try to be a little bit more honorable. Maybe then you'll gain some more respect, including mine.

I remember this movie. 'Twas fucked up, but worth watching. "Bronson" was a pussy-cat, he never even murdered anyone, he just got into a lot of fights and was psychologically disturbed, but not a murderer. So if you watch the movie, don't expect any big climax because there isn't. Some funny scenes though, like the dance part in the psych ward that this site is based on. :D

The way I see it is that YTMND is being run into the ground by a destructive feedback loop of doubt, frustration, angst, incompetence, apathy, disgust, and a natural loss of interest. Users have been leaving since the beginning of ytmnd's existence, but its produced only a gradual unnoticeable decline for the first couple years because the user base was quite high when ytmnd's quality was first put into doubt, not to mention that ytmnd saw enough growth to balance out user loss. As soon as ytmnd was cut off from its major supply of new users (I'm not sure what that was), it was already in permanent decay. I kind of visualize ytmnd's community history as a parabola that has fed its own decline exponentially. One cause and effect scenario being: the more people make shitty sites, the more people leave, the more people leave, the more people stop caring, the more people stop caring, the more people make shitty sites, etc. Also, there are plenty of specific cases where users only stayed because certain users made sites, so one small event could have triggered a mass abandonment, if that user was popular. I'm guessing this happened with users like mastersitsu, but I wasn't really involved in that subset of the community back then, so I can't be sure. In addition, there was demographic change when the scene from the movie 300 became a fad. I guess a lot of users felt alienated by its popularity, and decided ytmnd was no longer the place for them, because something about ytmnd felt different after that, though I still enjoyed it. Personally the spamming and quasi-popularity of moon man sites has put me off considerably. And yet, I persist.

For one, I am impressed that for less than $3,000, you got as many votes as you did. This was possibly because either due to a clever calculation on your part or a clerical error at the election office you were listed as the GOP candidate, and many voters go with a straight party ticket method of voting. But you need to realize that while there is no sufficient level of money to win an election, there is a minimum level, and I think you clearly missed that minimum. This could be because your platform is based on mostly federal issues. If you run for a state office, you should focus on things that Florida can actually tackle, like education and public safety. It is good to have stances on federal issues, but that alone won't get you elected to the state legislature. And your opponent is right: legalization can be a plank that you can run on, but in this economy, jobs are king.
