Don't worry about people downvoting you. Making what you want to make is what's important. See as long as people are putting thought and purpose into their sites, then this site will progress. This fad-centric site is only as good as the people who break OUT of it to create something new. Else how would new fads ever start? I'm not saying "go create a fad", im saying just go create and let the site do what it does best. Take your work and build on it.

I know the Star Wars fans have seen it but their intentions for voting it as a 10 would be to increase its recognition. So their motives are the same, right? Firstly, this YTMND was just something I thought of and I thought it'd be pretty funny. I disagree with the downvoting of other top-250 films because that's unnecessary (though I laughed at the suggestion). Getting this one film up there won't do much harm to the rest of the list. It's messed up anyway...The Green Mile ranked 130th or something? WRONG.

As some person said "Piracy wouldn't be so popular if they had called it something else." If Piracy was just "Copyright infringement" who the hell would do it? No, being a pirate is way better than being a infringer of copyrights.

Unfortunately, there's no way to have a site like this without someone accusing you of theft. When I hear people complaining about EBaums stealing from someone that stole something else, it makes me ROFL. Let's be serious. Has Max made quite a name for himself? Hell yeah he has. And he's put in a whole helluva lot of work too. It's not all animated gifs and soundfiles. And when there are complaints about stolen content, who do you think gets to hear about it?
