Personally, I'd recommend incorporating fads both old AND new, rather than all the ones which only the foolish have been around long enough to remember when they first emerged (foolish in the sense that most people who joined up in 2005 have long since realized that there's a whole world outside of the Internet). Maybe incorporate some cuffs (2008), Lando (2008), Holy Crap A Meteor (2006) or PACARD (2007). Although I feel like you don't really want to do that...

1'd for attempting to interbreed KHAN and PACARD. This the equivalent of unrestrainedly dumping antimatter and matter into the same place, resulting in nothing but the destruction of awesome. That you added L33Tness to the mix only made it worse. You made something resembling that mutant from Goonies here, only less appealing.
