You need to extend the length of reply chains. I was not finished and must now continue my writings in this comment which is unchained to my previous ones.

Anyway, let us return to the point of my first post on this news update. Everyone should stop worrying about YTMND's current state and just make some quality sites. I have no idea how you could possibly discern from my post that deleting sites and users was a good idea, as the point of my first post expressed exactly the opposite view. We are very different people, me and you max. You are a jew, I am superior being, you like getting drunk and counting silver shekels, and I like to make websites better with awesome Moon man materials. But, at the end of the day, we are similar in a very important way. We both share an intense affection for this website. We both share an interest in keeping this website's quality high, and we can both become rather upset when we glance upon the lower-quality parts of it. In this emotional state, we both can make some foolish decisions. These decisions have far reaching consequences for those around us. Like it or not, bad quality and good quality exist, and must forever exist, in a yin and yang like state on this website. There is nothing we can do to change it.

I'm not going to go in depth on why Moon man and his Moon Crew are not bad entities, and how they are not hurting this website. I already discussed that in a private message with you. The Moon Crew YTMND users are simply another part of YTMND, just as you are max. You created YTMND, but you can not control every facet of it, and even if you could, you should not. Your attempts to totally control YTMND and its types of content will ultimately harm YTMND. If YTMND is hurt because of reckless actions -- such as deleting other parts of YTMND -- based on inaccurate assumptions, then you will suffer just as much as we will, because we are both parts of this website.

"you troll other users that don't fit into your narrow perception of how ytmnd should be."

Right after saying

"Crappy and offensive content ruins the site."

What's "crappy and offensive" to you might be hilarious and amusing to others, and what's good to you might be crappy and offensive to others. I find 99% of Fourest and Fearcondom's sites to be crappy and offensive, but I still think they should have the right to make them.

If someone wants to make lame artfag sites, whatever, I don't have to like them but they don't have to stop making them. Similarly, if someone wants to make 10,000 identical square wave/ear rape/naked cartoon character sites, whatever, live and let live. I don't even particularly care for those kinds of sites (for example the AAAAAAAAAAA wrestler scream sites, they were all the same, I thought they were funny at first and even later on I would upvote one if I thought it had a funny title or something, but I mostly just ignored them).

Let people make whatever damn sites they want, is what I'm saying. No one has the right to decide which sites are "good" or "bad", it's all based on how they personally are received by each individual.

1.) What exactly do you think moderation will do? All moderators could do in the past is mark sites NSFW. What exactly is so rampantly ruining the site that requires intervention?

2.) This has been discussed at length both in news posts and on the wiki. I don't want to get into the game of using the behavior of a user, their voting habits, or anything else to change the value of votes. A vote is a vote, and that isn't going to change.

3 + 4) This is something we've discussed in the past as well, but it ultimately punishes new members of the site much more than it would stop alt-voting. Using a time-based gating system would just get people to plan out alts and using an activity-based gating system would end up spamming the site. The easiest way to remove incentive for making alts is by deleting the main accounts of people who make alts to vote, which we've been doing.

Max, if you really believe in the dream you would give this site some sort of moderation. Umfuld's said it a million times and he's right. There are too many cancerous parasites on this site and its gone from thriving, to being comatose and on life support.Users like farkle, santabotai, pilleater, joshcube, johnnylurg and their combined 10.000 alt accounts are what destroyed this place. No one wants to put any effort into creating any content when there are about 10 circle jerking faggots downvoting anything of value and upvoting moonman, santabot, mr.krabs, and party mouse sites. No one wants to view anything because anything of vaule is quickly banished into oblivion and everything on up and coming is vote hacked trash.

I understand why you've hesitated so long on moderation but if you really want to resurrect this site then it is the only way. Complete freedom of expression is one of the things that made this place great a long time ago but in the end it appears to be the same thing that's killed it. You have to get some mods and there are still a few quality users here who I'm sure would do it. You could assign mod tiers and promote people when they moderate responsibly and revoke their mod status if they start banning user accounts based personal grudges. You could make it so accounts can't be permanently deleted unless the mods vote on it. Hell you could even be lazy and just have a group of users of your choice get together in chat at a designated time and vote out cancerous user accounts and send the results of the vote to you if you are too lazy to fuck around with the code for a mod system.

So do you really care at all about this place max? It made you a pseudo celebrity once. Now it's good for buying you a bottle of grey goose every other week. So will you do something to fix it? Or will you give us another news update in 9 months briefly informing us of a con you will be attending.

Also, I'm back bitches.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- Why can't this company make up its mind? Every time I go there to pick up the food I've been eating since I was a kid, the menu has changed. I always ate their 3 piece meal with 2 breasts and a wing. I ate that for years. It came with 2 sides and a drink and it was a great deal. Then they changed it to 1 side, then they took away the drink. Now there's nothing on the menu that even remotely resembles that meal so you pretty much have to order everything ala carte and pay through the nose.

Related Reviews:

KFC - 35 minute wait and then a short/incorrect order - 10 pc meal
KFC - Store needs major overhaul - The staff
Kentucky Fried Chicken - Here's your sign... - Honey BBQ sandwich
Kentucky Fried Chicken - Dirty & Empty - Store & Food

Why don't they understand what they're doing to the consumer? Every time I go - which is much less than I used to - I hear other people complaining about the same thing. Look, I love your original recipe chicken, but I can't ever send anyone else in to pick things up for me because the menu is constantly evolving into something that's obviously only based on company profits and not on consumer convenience. Get your act together KFC or you're going to lose a lot more customers!

^ "Most GothLolis cite that they are merely imitating their favorite bands from the visual rock genre, known as 'Visual Kei'. Although it seems a reference to Vladimir Nabokov’s scandalous Lolita, many Gothlolis will tell you that books (other than manga, Japanese comics, which are also at the heart of the scene) and art are not a part of their inspiration. Music is a major force in its creation. Visual Kei is exactly as it sounds: Rock music that incorporates visual effects and elaborate costumes to heighten the experience of the music and the show. Visual Kei started in the 80s and became so popular by the 90s that the nearly all-female fan base started dressing up as their favorite band members (known as 'cosplay') who were often males that wore make-up, crazy hair, and dressed androgynously or as females (usually, the more feminine the rocker, the more fans rush to emulate them)." A BLOB is a binary large object that can hold a variable amount of data. The four BLOB types are TINYBLOB, BLOB, MEDIUMBLOB, and LONGBLOB. These differ only in the maximum length of the values they can hold. The four TEXT types are TINYTEXT, TEXT, MEDIUMTEXT, and LONGTEXT. These correspond to the four BLOB types and have the same maximum lengths and storage requirements. See Section 11.5, “Data Type Storage Requirements”.

BLOB values are treated as binary strings (byte strings). They have no character set, and sorting and comparison are based on the numeric values of the bytes in column values. TEXT values are treated as nonbinary strings (character strings). They have a character set, and values are sorted and compared based on the collation of the character set.

If strict SQL mode is not enabled and you assign a value to a BLOB or TEXT column that exceeds the column's maximum length, the value is truncated to fit and a warning is generated. For truncation of nonspace characters, you can cause an error to occur (rather than a warning) and suppress insertion of the value by using strict SQL mode. See Section 5.1.6, “Server SQL Modes”.

Truncation of excess trailing spaces from values to be inserted into TEXT columns always generates a warning, regardless of the SQL mode.

If a TEXT column is indexed, index entry comparisons are space-padded at the end. This means that, if the index requires unique values, duplicate-key errors will occur for values that differ only in the number of trailing spaces. For example, if a table contains 'a', an attempt to store 'a ' causes a duplicate-key error. This is not true for BLOB columns.

In most respects, you can regard a BLOB column as a VARBINARY column that can be as large as you like. Similarly, you can regard a TEXT column as a VARCHAR column. BLOB and TEXT differ from VARBINARY and VARCHAR in the following ways:
.
