I like what feature users TRIED to do. It just didn't work out because YTMND is a caustic group. If people WERE given votes on featured users then the entire list would be full of people who got alt-voted on and would just use it to troll YTMND constantly (which they already do). And if you tried to limit the alt votes by giving them a join date limit or something, people would bitch about how THAT isn't democracy and how unfair it is. A group is its own worst enemy =P

Truthfully, I made my Mark Wahlberg site as a joke. I actually told Improviser that I was gonna "parody" a Necronomicon site (mixing some sort of movie/film clip with a song) just for something to do because it would probably get a high rating. And another thing, I hate Daft Punk but I just know that I could get an easy beat from them and why not mix it with a random movie quote. I guess that sh*t works!

Alright iritscen, I'll try to put some stars or planets or something around the keyboard tomorrow. What originally deterred me from doing "+ space" was the other contest rule, you can only have two "locations" maximum, whatever that means. no, i had to do some edits to the background music and there are a few points where i cut little bits so certain koenisms would coincide with the music. for instance, note the clap after C & Matlab. not a total accident. I am calling some serious bullsh*t here. The theme was Drama, not Dramatic, there's a slight difference. I can find any clip from a movie/internet video, take a few seconds of it, and label it as dramatic, and it wouldn't even have to be dramatic at all and it would be funny! That's all GordonFremen did, oh, and GET THIS: it was of Sean Connery! LOL, YOU KNOW, THAT GUYS THAT SAID SOMETHING FUNNY. Does anyone see where I am coming from? Its frustrating to try to think outside the box for a theme when all you have to do is effortlessly post a straight rip from a movie with no creative thought behind it at all.

What are you talking about? Plenty of ytmnd's fads before 2008 were inspired by 4chan. As much as you hate the thought of that, it's the truth. Maybe if older users would stop groaning about how bad ytmnd has become and actually do something constructive about it, then maybe their complaints would have more merit. Anyway, F*ckThisSh*t has never made a site over 3.39, and Joshcube is an infamous user from ages past with equally an equally sad site catalog, so why would we care about what you say, anyway?
