Ever since Ron Paul became an internet phenomenon people have been spreading wild views about the Federal Reserve. In reality, although the Fed can control the money supply with the federal interest rate, they have to keep the rate competitive or otherwise the private member banks would withdraw their deposits. The Fed can't actually create money willy nilly. Also, the goal of the Federal Reserve for the past several decades has been to keep inflation at a healthy nominal level, not to raise it.

A small amount of inflation is ideal because the effects of even a small amount of deflation are far worse. Deflation is part of what made the Great Depression so bad. With deflation, people who owe debt end up having to pay it off with more valuable money which means they lose money and stay in debt longer. When no one wants to borrow money and get in debt, economic growth is crippled.

When the Federal Reserve issues bailouts and buys companies with billions of dollars that don't actually exist, I consider that creating money willy nilly. They haven't literally printed new money but they have inflated the money supply through credit. Also, economic growth as you are defining it is not a good thing, because it's not based on real wealth. And people should not spend money they don't have, that is pure common sense. I guess in a college economics classroom that's worthless, though.

The national debt benefits the government, some of the top bankers and all those who work with the aforementioned only. The poor do not benefit, as they will inevitably face inflation. The nation does not benefit, as moneylenders will dry up and the whole system will come crashing down as a result. Even the immediate beneficiaries of all those will lose in the end.

You might be surprised to learn the selection of giant inflatable gorilla images out there isn't exactly extensive. The image I referred to as "cheesy" was crappy in a variety of ways, and wasn't worth altering. This one was almost good enough to leave purple, but I color-replaced it to pink just for you guys.

lol DAMN you're getting roasted here, Waaaaang. Anyway, breakdown of my score: +5 for inflated sense of self-worth, -1 for having the music stopped when you throw in the overdubs, instead of creating an automation or envelope to fade down during those brief moments (honestly it takes just as much time as having the audio stop completely, and sounds 1000x better), and -1 for using those annoying robotic voices that I loathe with every inch of my body. lol. But otherwise, congrats!!!
