Is it just me or does the new Quick Search not sort in order of highest rated to lowest, and it only shows about half the results per page as the old one? o_O

I make sites to please certain other users I know and myself, and hope that maybe one of them will occasionally have a mass acceptance. But at the same time I can look beyond my own little corner and hope that new users wont come in and make the site a place I dont want to visit, and that the users who entertain me, which is FAR more important, stick around. In order for the users I like to stick around, in some cases, that means I need to stick around too. Its a community...

And now that he has a new business dealie he stopped bothering, hence why the views have gone way down? This came to me in a dream, after I ate my Christmas dinner of chili dogs and chips.

the problem with this sentiment is that every day that passes adds to the prerequisite of knowledge of the history of YTMND, at a certain point it's going to be impossible to get new users completely up to speed. I think the important part is purveying the sentiment that it isnt necessary to dig up 1000 old fads and make stupid fad compilations/beat the dead horse in order for new users to fit in.

I still think the biggest improvement would be to wipe all the old accounts and start a new ytmnd requiring a reliable 18+ age identification process in order to register as a user, vote, and create sites.

He was doing all kinds of things with those alts. And the reason Max was able to instantly delete them was because they all had email addresses that began with "JohnnyLurg". So he wrote some kind of code that deleted all accounts that had email addresses beginning with "JohnnyLurg". The other two were a little smarter than Lurg by being more creative with their emails. Instead of going through those accounts one-by-one, Max just locked them and put them all into the deletion queue. He would have to take YTMND down in order to run it, so I think he's waiting to do it when he switches over to the new design.

No, recently created is constantly filled with mr krabs homo shit and your 9/11 lizard sites. We don't need that to be the first shit that people see. What needs to happen is the news post either needs to be made smaller, or have a tab of its own which lights up whenever a new news post is made. The contest thing has to go, because it's the biggest waste of space on the homepage and those sites end up being front page sites for over a year. That would scoot the recently created up so it is visible, along with sponsored sites, which people pay to have featured on a front page that needs to be scrolled in order to see them. Doesn't seem right. <br /><br />If those stupid, sometimes NSFW, randomtmnds were to be ditched, that might make room for another column of sites, say top rated this week. Then again, up and coming and top rated are basically the same thing. One needs to go.

, I poured some in my desiel gas tank and amazingly I drove an extra 200 miles on it before my engine melted! After becoming horribly obsessed with power I mixed it with sawdust to make a C4 like explosive except around 400 times more powerful.
