Umfuld appears to be under the impression that, because the Terms of Use do not specify that the use of alternate accounts to upvote/downvote sites, it is acceptable to do what he has done with the alts "Stop-Trolling-A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, and L," along with the others among that lengthy list. Would you mind clarifying whether or not this is an acceptable use of alternate accounts?<br /><br />Prior to his obvious abuse of the voting system, he claims that he never did such a thing. Whether this is true or not can only be answered by the person who controls this site. But a deletion of those cover votes on NeoMatrixClt sites would certainly reveal a lot, if it doesn't already. He wonders why people have it out for him when the answer is obvious. He thinks he runs this site and has the right to decide what is worthy of the attention of the community and what is not. His recent activity has altered the ratings of several sites that had been near the top of the up and coming, to the point that they will never be seen again (see also, the activity of the alternate accounts belonging to gr33nscr33n). He isn't helping himself when he resorts to childish playground language to refer to the people he doesn't like. So if he's trying to say that a lot of us have broken that fourth rule, he should look at his own history. He's even been banned from commenting next to the likes of sexymofo and JoeyJoeJoe. <br /><br />Umfuld may feel inclined to bring up the fact that the user formerly known as "JohnnyLurg" has recently registered scores of accounts to downvote his recent sites, notably [site amusedtodeath:site]. But does that give him the right to do the same thing -- to users not involved with that activity?<br /><br />Do what you feel is necessary, Max.

He was doing all kinds of things with those alts. And the reason Max was able to instantly delete them was because they all had email addresses that began with "JohnnyLurg". So he wrote some kind of code that deleted all accounts that had email addresses beginning with "JohnnyLurg". The other two were a little smarter than Lurg by being more creative with their emails. Instead of going through those accounts one-by-one, Max just locked them and put them all into the deletion queue. He would have to take YTMND down in order to run it, so I think he's waiting to do it when he switches over to the new design.

So is there just no way to keep johnnylurg out of here for good? Is he getting around his ban using proxies or something? Or is he using different computers. Either way max you seriously need to get on getting some new mods. Make me a mod and I'll delete that idiot's accounts within 5 minutes of him posting his spam.

Now, just for fun, I'd like to see Umfuld reveal the alts that these users have cheated with. I'm aware that some of these guys have used alts in the past, but some of those names are new to me. Tell me the alts used by Harbltron, eightbitprodigy, FatHistorian, Cliffington88, PoHandle, Locke5, and TheeBatman TO CHEAT. <br /><br />I don't condone any of the alt abuse that some of these others may have done in the past. They learned their lesson when some of their accounts were deleted and they never did it again. You had your core group of alts in 2008 that were later deleted after you were comment-banned. I don't know how much abuse you did with them, but Cumion and Scumion must have been locked and deleted for a reason. You came back and made a whole new army, doing the same thing -- using each and every one of them to vote. Then you just made it obvious by logging into every account to downvote my sites and anyone who openly called you out while shouting to max "I don't care anymore, I'm going to alt-bomb anyone who mentions me in a comment!" So yeah, there's a reason I have fun criticizing you for that shit. You were always playing the imaginary role of YTMND Police, altering your vote so the site receives the overall vote you think it deserves, calling people out for using alts, etc. Yet you turn around and do the same fucking thing. It's like a cop busting some dude for drugs, confiscating it, and turning around to smoke it himself. <br /><br />This is typical Umfuld too, complaining about the things I like. Right now, if I were to go to these users' profiles and 5 at least one of each of their sites, Umfuld would be right behind me to vote 1, with the reason being that my vote "wasn't real." <br /><br />If you want to complain about circle jerking, bitch about every single person who ever voted 5 on a site containing the symbol "#?!"

5. Make it easier for these new accounts to SHARE YTMNDS WITH THE REST OF THE INTERNET. Post to Twitter, Facebook, reddit, whatever. Create something that monitors the value these users add to your site: how much traffic they're pulling in with their recommendations, how much hustle they put into promoting OTHER PEOPLE'S work. Let that good work be part of the "fast-track" algorithm to voting privileges.<br /><br />I honestly don't think this can be all self-regulated; I think YTMND needs to get some good moderators. max, you obviously don't have the time to make YTMND your top development priority, so I think the best move here is to set up some new moderators that can be trusted to be fair and impartial.<br /><br />This is not about narrowing the range of "acceptable sites" or saying that faggy art films are better than no-effort sites. I love all kinds of sites: noise sites, art sites, faggy short films, DEWs, fads, fad comps, classic sites - the style doesn't matter. What matters is intent. It's obvious when someone's intent is just to piss off another user, troll the community, or just generally act like a tit. I humbly submit that it wouldn't be too hard get a few guys to volunteer to delete some accounts for you.<br /><br />Trolls and thoughtful discussion below, please.

Everyone should stop worrying about YTMND's current state and just make some quality sites. I have no idea how you could possibly discern from my post that deleting sites and users was a good idea, as the point of my first post expressed exactly the opposite view. We are very different people, me and you max. You are a jew, I am superior being, you like getting drunk and counting silver shekels, and I like to make websites better with awesome Moon man materials. But, at the end of the day, we are similar in a very important way. We both share an intense affection for this website. We both share an interest in keeping this website's quality high, and we can both become rather upset when we glance upon the lower-quality parts of it. In this emotional state, we both can make some foolish decisions. These decisions have far reaching consequences for those around us. Like it or not, bad quality and good quality exist, and must forever exist, in a yin and yang like state on this website. There is nothing we can do to change it. <br /><br />I'm not going to go in depth on why Moon man and his Moon Crew are not bad entities, and how they are not hurting this website. I already discussed that in a private message with you. The Moon Crew YTMND users are simply another part of YTMND, just as you are max. You created YTMND, but you can not control every facet of it, and even if you could, you should not. Your attempts to totally control YTMND and its types of content will ultimately harm YTMND. If YTMND is hurt because of reckless actions -- such as deleting other parts of YTMND -- based on inaccurate assumptions, then you will suffer just as much as we will, because we are both parts of this website.

Seeing his inability to make adult business decisions to monetize the notoriety his site had once generated, she became frustrated and broke up with his answering machine. max then decided to get revenge but by this point his human interaction had dwindled, so he lashed out at her in the only way he could - he made a YTMND site of his ex-girlfriend's cooch.<br /><br />After taking a massive shit, max realized his mistake and deleted the site he had created 10 minutes prior - but not before a few users had saved the jpg externally. Since he had kept the YTMND community insulated from his prior personal life (just as he had become insulated from the outside world), the risk of damage was pretty minimal. After all, the odds of it surfacing again were pretty small, and even if it did, it might make him feel a bit better.<br /><br />Or maybe it's just some random camwhore, I dunno.

About the delete, if you want it deleted, (even though this one brought the attention of many site and therefore gave a positive impact for ytmnd), you'll have to ask max. If you can convince him, then I'm fine with what the owner decides.
