I 5d this out of commitment, when you posted it, but I didn't comment because I really didn't enjoy this site. Are you just trying to dismiss the last bastion of racism from Moon Man, so you can justify your non-racist stance? I understand that, because I also make non-racist MM sites. But I don't think connecting the chants of kkk to something as stupid as "Kar Klinic Kare" is the solution. "KKK" is my favorite gimmick, and it's an integral part of Moon Man. I don't even connect it with the Ku Klux Klan.

You make excellent points, and I am glad that we are having a civilized conversation here.<br /><br />If you haven't checked out my votes, I've changed all of them. The Keanu site is now a 2, the Boondocks site back to a 3, and the plethora site a 4. I actually like the Three Amigos thing now that you've gotten the idea across to me. I didn't get it when I first saw it.<br /><br />And I wouldn't say I think you're a dick. Sometimes you behave dickishly, but I know what you're trying to do, and I generally admire it. You're in the trenches, where none of us want to be because we don't want to be seen as dicks. But you often voice what we are all thinking. I'm absolutely fine with that. Believe me when I say I have no grudge against you. In fact, you are the one who saved "Roadrunner is a Mirage" from obscurity, and I'm pretty sure you've 5'd some of my other sites.<br /><br />I also take it as a great compliment that you think I'm a seasoned user, since this is the only account I've ever had. I have been familiar with the YTMND website for a few years, though, and passed through as a casual viewer from time to time. I never made an account because I didn't know the first thing about image editing or animation, and to be honest, my sites would have sucked then. If you look at the space between when I joined and when I made my first site, that is the time I took to learn GIMP, which is still the only program I use. yeah, i'm twenty-five and i've found that more and more expectations seem to fall into disillusionment. but really, for me at least, there is almost an equal level of hope-for-fulfillment happening. the one thing i've learned about living this long is that the things that make you feel good - and i mean really really good - never hold the same kind of presence as you thought they would.<br /><br />i've just started meeting some quality girls. i've pretty much abandoned the partytime getting laid expectation. it was a rough reality for me and i did a lot of irresponsible (and sometimes flat out hurtful) things with far too many women. i really don't want to sound like i'm trying to express some l337 garbage here, but being a relatively good looking guy has brought me (all to easily, before i was ready and grown enough) very close to some dangerous situations involving sex, relationships, drug use, what have you - and i'm very thankful i never really had to pay any price for it. it did leave me with enough angst and disillusionment at least with regards to women. look at this account, and look at the rug account, and tell me i didn't scar myself with some bullshit. its all goooood though ;)

You have my blessing to downvote all you want. I didn't make the site to achieve some kind of weird "fame" on ytmnd. This was actually my first visit back to the site in over a year to do something other than look for a specific site that I was reminded of and wanted to see at that particular time. I made this site for a friend, and will probably go back to not visiting this site for a long while after this. Incidentally, this is the most successful site of all those I have made, ha!<br /><br />But just think about the fact that yourethemannowdog.com, the original ytmnd, had a picture that the author had nothing to do with, a sound that he did not create (whether or not it is interesting is subjective), and text that was a simple transcript of the sound. Much like this site, with the exception of the text.

I finally found a Shiny Ponyta in Mt. Ember!<br /><br />The hunt started on December 2nd, in the middle of many other hunts, and it took me a while to get to 740 encounters. But when I did on December 26th, I found a Shiny Slowpoke in my Leaf Green. I still continued to hunt in Kindle Road despite the odds because of a special feeling I had that Ponyta would turn up next. I was wrong. After 1908 encounters, I found a Shiny Fearow in my Leaf Green.<br /><br />I still felt that Kindle Road would bring me another shiny fast. And that's what I want. But, you can't always get what you want. And I started running from Pokemon instead of fainting them to make the encounters go faster.<br /><br />Well, after 7000 I decided to go into Mt. Ember to hunt for this. At the time I finally got Ho-Oh, I was around 9000 for this. So, I worked my tail off and got to 11000. I realized my Leaf Green could be a tad unlucky sometimes, but don't worry, I told myself, it'll definitely come before 15000. It didn't.<br /><br />I started to worry. What if my Leaf Green lost its luck for a while? It did. I just didn't know that, until I got to 17000 encounters. Freed up by my other Kanto Region games (decided to terminate a secret search that was taking too long), my Fire Red #1 and my Fire Red #2, I decided to triple encounter for this shiny at the middle of spring.<br /><br />That would definitely bring it soon, right

You guys sure are getting touchy over only a 4. I thought this site could be better. I wanted to explain how I thought it could be better, and since Umfuld put effort into this site, I figured he might appreciate it. It might sound strange, but I'm more of a critic when I see someone actually cares about their work on YTMND. Would you guys be happier if I applied that harsh criticism to every site? Most users don't even care about improving. They're either happy just the way they are or they don't care that they could be better. Anyway, do you really think YTMND would improve if I went around telling people how I thought their site could be better? If you really think so, then I could give it a shot.<br /><br />As for giving the password to an alt away, all they do is post harmless sites and comments on their own sites. You're right. It syncs.<br /><br />As for my first point, I was referring to the image's [i]file size[/i] being unnecessarily large. I thought that the site's large size was due entirely to that, but having a look at the asset pages, I see that the audio file is also to blame. When I say the image is way too large for what it delivers, I mean that the image file size takes up a lot of space when it doesn't have any reason to (and thereby makes the whole site bigger than it needs to be).<br /><br />My first suggestion would be to optimize your .gif, which I'm assuming you probably didn't do. I'm not an expert with optimization, but I know that most software will have the option to optimize your animation for the .gif format. This doesn't always save space, depending on your animation, but in your case, I think it would have made a significant difference. Additionally, you could cut down on the number of frames in your animation and just make each frame last a bit longer to make up for the removed ones. You could also lower the number of colors used in your .gif; for example (and I'm not suggesting that you do this), a black-and-white animation uses way fewer bytes than a color animation.<br /><br />Regarding your audio, I would suggest using an .mp3 file type rather than a .wav type--it takes up far less space. The only time you'd ever want to use a .wav file is if you have audio that needs to be looped seamlessly. An .mp3 file has a tiny break between loops while a .wav doesn't.<br /><br />This is pretty much the extent of my knowledge; it's really just stuff I've picked up here and there in the past year that I've been making sites on YTMND. I'm not an expert, but I am generally more willing to help new users than the average YTMNDer (though from my experience, most new users--even if they are trying--end up quitting within a month). I am up for a raid and you made a very good point. As i said in my post below they should post sites and we do have an old ally of years past, but they may be reluctant to help us. I'm pretty sure they raided us on gabbly once by sending hundreds of people and having them use the same name. When it happened i was like WTF, but now i think i understand. To really stop us from dying those of us who can make good sites need to, but a lot of the best ytmnders get busy with college and then stop. I have tons of ideas yet i do nothing with them. I got a copy of photshop for xmas from my gf, but i haven't used it yet. I mean maybe if i didn't play minecraft and didn't have a gf then i would take out way more time for ytmnd in my freetime, but both of those things are so addicting. I want to make a NSMB animated in minecraft like this: http://i.imgur.com/HOXrR.gif, probably made by a ytmnder or at least a former ytmnd browser, but seriously that would take sooooooooo incredibly long. If you're going to make an alliance like this, don't put it out in the open for everyone to see. It's such a small one too. If you've ever watched Survivor or Big Brother, you'd know that they try to keep their alliances a secret. Although that first season of Survivor was full of idiots because it was blatantly obvious that four members from the Tagi tribe were working together after the merge, but none of the Pagong people seemed to get the idea that maybe they should try to break it up. I mean fuck, by the time they decided to try it, they were outnumbered because there were only three of them left. I still don't know why Kelly wanted to leave the alliance when they had a great thing going. Had she joined those three Pagong members that week, Richard Hatch's fat naked ass wouldn't have received that soon-to-be-wasted million dollar check. But no, she stupidly voted for Sean. She's lucky she was able to save her own ass by winning the rest of the challenges when her alliance members discovered her betrayal. I'm still fucking pissed that Rudy didn't win that game.

I was 14 when I saw the news of that terrible act and I was a stupid ignorant about everything. In 10 years I got informed and I also started to have an opinion, which is still quite immature, but at least I have something to think about. I believe terrorists are driven by interests, so it seems plausible and logically easy to neutralize them, not because of what they aspire to but because of the way they want to achieve their goal. But terrorism... terrorism is a concept. How do you make a war on terrorism? It's like making a war on love! How do you make a war on something that you can barely describe? Of course it's easy to describe it as an act. But terrorism goes beyond the act, for some it's a way of life, a philosophy, that's what scares me the most. I think there should be something more than killing terrorists, they can be replaced in no time. The problem is, I still don't know what is missing. Maybe there's nothing missing and this game of capturing/killing is the only solution to the problem. Maybe the problem is not even what we commonly think it is. Maybe, but that's a little far-fetched, there's no problem at all.

Thanks for the constructive criticism.<br /><br />I didn't really agree with you at first, but then I realized the error of my ways. This switch-to-repeating-background technique has always been used to make a site unusually long, so I followed that precedent by default. The thing is, in most of those sites, the length was the whole point (see: notforanyone, nigga-look-at-yo-hair, TOWEREWOT, etc.). In my site, length is [i]not[/i] the whole point. I like the interlude, but even I have to admit that a minute and a half of tumbling Rooney is rather extravagant.<br /><br />I've revised the site to reflect my revised thinking. I also prefer where the music cuts out this time around, so that's an added bonus.

Apple actually will release the iPhone 3K because Moon Man exhumed Steve Jobs' corpse and made a suit out of it his remains, and he is going into Apple corporate HQ tomorrow.
