The problem is that ytmnd will benifit none from it (in the form of traffic), whereas ebaumsworld WILL get more traffic.

But, even if it does give eBaum more hits, he's still TECHNICALLY not doing anything other than hosting the sites. It's like when a movie says "presented by Quentin Tarantino," causing several people to see the movie because they think the man had something to do with it. It's sneaky, it's slightly dishonest and it's annoying; but there are no rules being broken.

I don't want ebaums banned either, if he were to give credit to the original artists, would you guys be this upset?

see the great thing about ebaum's is the array of stuff they have to offer, though I mostly lurk around the forums, but seriously I wish these sites could come to some sort of deal that would allow ebaum to take property granted he pay before hand.

Alright for all you Ebaums fan and less versed in the art of Law, it's time to learn why Ebaum is a criminal and why his site is illegal. Ebaum has traveled around, taken material from other sites and users and placed them on his site. Before putting them on the site, he places a fancy watermark stating "Hosted by Ebaums." Now a favorite argument of Ebaums supporters is that he doesn't claim to own the hosted material, just hosts them on his site. Correct. However still illegal. This is because A) He doesn't ask the original owner/artist/guy who creates the material for permission, B) He doesn't cite sources, and C) He ignores requests to take material off his site even in the face of evidence that the material isn't his. And another reason D) His admins and other owners of ebaum are probably ordered by the lame chief himself to not take any complaints seriously because of his "army of lawyers."
