The late star Chyna was unlike any woman who came before her in WWE, hence earning the nickname "The Ninth Wonder of the World". She made a lasting impression that stands the test of time, but along with the success that came her way, controversy plagued her career.
This tribute is in her loving memories...

Joe Hendry has been a musician for 10 years, and has incorporated his prior career into his professional wrestling work. As a face, Hendry was known for flamboyant ring entrances, usually parodying a famous song to mock his opponent. In ICW, he was known as the "Local Hero", referring to a section of Kerrang! named "Local Heroes" that Hendry had appeared in, as to make fun of his "lack of musical success".
Say his name and he appears! I believe in Joe Hendry!
When did you first believe in Joe Hendry? Let me know in the comments.

For a woman who used to make her living procuring organs for donation at an eyes and tissue bank, the WWE female wrestler known as Victoria has come a long way. Born of Puerto Rican and Turkish decent, Lisa Marie Varon had grown up wanting to become a world class biologist and was well on her way to that profession during her college years. A former cheerleader, Lisa decided to move into the world of fitness competitions as a hobby during her studies; and eventually turned it into a successful modeling career -- going on to meet with fellow superstars Torrie Wilson and Trish Stratus years before any of them were wrestlers. In fact, her friendship with Torrie Wilson is what led her directly into the wrestling business; as she was asked to appear as an extra during a live WCW event -- she had only just decided to drop in and visit her friend Torrie earlier that day. From that moment on, she couldn't get enough.
Not too long afterward, Victoria signed on with UPW before being signed on full time with the WWF. Trained in OVW for more than two years, "Queen Victoria" made her WWF debut as one of the Godfather's Ho's (you may remember her as the one who was leading the "Save the Ho" campaign) and would later resurface as Trish Stratus' nemesis on Monday Night RAW. In the time since, Victoria has gone on to become one of the most respected female grapplers in the sport. Currently aligned with Steven Richards, Victoria is in the midst of feuding with, well, whomever gets in her way. Look for continued success from her in the future.

Nine years ago, after a women's match that last just 30 seconds, fans demanded more from WWE with the hashtag #GiveDivasAChance, which trended worldwide for three days. Fans wanted longer matches that better highlighted the athleticism of its female talent.
And WWE delivered. At WrestleMania 32 a rebranding of the Divas Division was announced, making way for the Women's Division with a new championship title more similar to the men's. It was also announced that the women would be called Superstars, like the men, retiring the Divas moniker.
Since then, we've seen the creation of the Mae Young Classic, an all-women's tournament, and the first-ever women's Royal Rumble, Hell in a Cell and Money in the Bank matches, and many more...

description:
Sherri Martel was one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of all time, she excelled in a managerial role as well. After “Macho Man” Randy Savage split with Miss Elizabeth during the long-running program with Hulk Hogan that led to their main-event match at WrestleMania 5, “Sensational” Sherri stepped in to help create one of the greatest partnerships of the Golden Era. Savage and Sherri were both excellent heels and worked beautifully together.
When the pair split after two years at WrestleMania 7, Sensational Sherri hooked up with “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase for a brief time before partnering up with a young Shawn Michaels in 1992 as The Heartbreak Kid was just beginning his singles career after splitting with Marty Jannetty. Sherri sang the original version of HBK’s famous entrance theme, “Sexy Boy,” and Michaels has long credited her with helping his career.
Sherri Martel left WWE in 1993 and soon after signed with ECW, where she managed Shane Douglas. She joined WCW in 1994 and worked alongside Ric Flair for a short time before becoming the manager for Harlem Heat. Under the name “Sister” Sherri, Martel led Booker T and Stevie Ray to seven tag team title reigns before leaving the company.
After making appearances in various independent promotions in the early 2000s, Sherri returned to WWE in 2005 as part of the storyline involving Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle leading into their epic match at WrestleMania 21. The following year, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Ted Dibiase.
Her final TV appearance in the wrestling industry came in 2006 in TNA when she offered her managerial services to a young Bobby Roode.
