Powerpuff was a high potential superhero action series that could had premiere on The CW during the 2020s season. The project was created by Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier, and stars Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault. It is a live-action adaptation of the original animated series, The Powerpuff Girls that aired on Cartoon Network from 1998 to 2005. On May 24, 2021, it was announced that the pilot was going to be re-developed. As of May 11, 2022, the project was still said to be in development, However two months later it was announced that Craig McCracken is developing an newer version of the show for Cartoon Network Finally on May 18, 2023 the project was announced as dead.

Nagisa Shiota is the main protagonist and narrator of Assassination Classroom. He is a student in Korosensei's Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School who has a natural talent for assassination despite his overall passive nature. Nagisa is the son of Hiromi Shiota and her presumable ex-husband. His mother had hoped for a daughter so she could experience all the things she had missed as a child through her but got a son instead. As a result, she dictated his life from forcing him to keep his hair long, to being forced to cross-dress and verbally abused him whenever he spoke against her. Her personality also caused her husband to leave her and Nagisa. Nagisa was in Class D during his first two years of middle school before falling into Class 3-E due to poor grades. During those two years, he hung out with fellow classmate Karma Akabane, although they slowly drifted apart before becoming classmates again. Soon after starting the new term as a Class E student, Nagisa met Kaede Kayano, who gave him what would become his signature pigtails instead of the ponytail he usually uses to keep his long hair from being less noticeable, thus beginning their friendship.

Hyena is the most bloodthirsty member of the Pack, laughing maniacally as her namesake does at her opponents before leaping headlong into battle, leading with her razor sharp talons. Fox recruited her to "The Pack" with her brother, Jackal, months before the gargoyles' awakening. Unbeknownst to her, they were actually being recruited by David Xanatos through Fox to see if they were good enough to serve him. Princess Yona/Lena/Rina is the titular protagonist of the manga and anime series, Akatsuki no Yona. She is the Crown princess of Kouka Kingdom, the sole heiress of Emperor Il and Queen Kashi, as well as the reincarnation of King Hiryuu.
