Green is the sixth studio album by the American alternative rock band R.E.M. and their first release for Warner Bros. Records. Released in November 1988, the album continued to explore political issues both in its lyrics and packaging. To promote Green, the band embarked on an 11-month world tour and released four singles: "Orange Crush", "Stand", "Pop Song 89", and "Get Up". Background and recording With the release of Document in 1987, R.E.M. fulfilled its contract with I.R.S. Records. Frustrated that its records did not see satisfactory overseas distribution, in early 1988 the band told I.R.S. head Jay Boberg that it was leaving the label. Guitarist Peter Buck also explained that his group felt it was being pressured to sell well by I.R.S., yet felt I.R.S.'s distributor MCA Records did not consider the ensemble a priority. R.E.M.'s management then approached any record companies that expressed interest in the band. Though other labels offered more money, R.E.M. ultimately signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records—reportedly between $6 million and $12 million—due to the company's assurance of total creative freedom. In light of its move to a major label, the band became defensive in interviews about accusations from some fans who claimed it was selling out. R.E.M. began the album process by recording demos at Robbie Collins' Underground Sound Recording Studio in Athens, Georgia. Bill Berry, Peter Buck and Mike Mills recorded the basic tracks in two configurations: (1) guitar, bass, and drums and (2) percussion, mandolin, and accordion. The demos were mixed by Robbie Collins, Buren Fowler (guitar tech for Pete Buck and later member of Drivin' & Cryin'), and David LaBruyere (later bassist for Vic Varney, Michelle Malone, and John Mayer) and presented to R.E.M. management. Michael Stipe used these recordings for his vocal arrangements. The band recorded the studio album at Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, with Scott Litt producing. Music In a 1988 interview, Peter Buck described Green as an album that didn't feature any typical R.E.M. songs. Describing the band's standard output as "Minor key, mid-tempo, enigmatic, semi-folk-rock-balladish things", the guitarist noted that for Green, "We wrote major key rock songs and switched instruments." Singer Michael Stipe had reportedly told his bandmates to "not write any more R.E.M.-type songs". Bassist Mike Mills argued that Green was an experimental record, resulting in an album that was "haphazard, a little scattershot". Band biographer David Buckley wrote, "[S]onically, Green is all over the place, the result being a fascinatingly eclectic album rather than a unified artistic move forward". Green was reputedly envisioned as an album where one side would feature electric songs and the other, acoustic material, with the plan failing to come to fruition due to a lack of acoustic songs deemed fit for release. David Buckley highlighted three main musical strands on Green: "ironic pop songs" like "Stand" and "Pop Song 89", harder-hitting tracks such as "Orange Crush" and "Turn You Inside-Out", and "pastoral acoustic numbers" that had Peter Buck playing mandolin, with "The Eleventh Untitled Song" singled out as an anomaly. Buck had become fond of playing acoustic music with his friends in that period, and thus purchased an "oddly-shaped Italian mandolin-cum-lyre" in 1987; he would play the instrument on three of the tracks on Green. From this period onward, R.E.M. would swap instruments among members, and on Green the group also incorporated accordion, cello, and lap steel guitar.

In 2007, The Wii, a pussy-ass system, devours some Sony fans. Elsewhere, the evil Nintendo control the Chadformers homeworld, H-Town. The heroic BALLINbots are using two of H-Town's moons as staging areas, preparing to strike against Nintendo. In need of dro, a BALLINbot Caddy is readied for launch to BALLIN City on Earth. Nintendo ambushes the Caddy, killing some true niggaz, intending to use the Caddy to infiltrate BALLIN City. On Earth, A lil fat bitch and Anthony Perez fish in a lake near BALLIN City, discussing the system that's the best. They pick up the Caddy's signature, and race up to see it land. They spot Nintendo and launch a preemptive strike. After a brief battle, Nintendo attacks BALLIN City. The BALLINbots transform BALLIN City into a fortress. As a siege ensues, 50 Cent orders some nigga to radio for assistance from the leader of the BALLINbots, Chad Warden. During the battle some niggaz are killed and many more casualties are taken by both sides. The next morning, Chad and the Fanboys arrive. The Fanboys are unable to defeat M6, leaving Chad to take on most of the gay niggaz by himself. Chad then confronts the Nintendo leader, Nick Bass, and the two engage in a fight. Though Nick Bass is defeated, Chad is mortally wounded. Reggie takes command of Nintendo and retreats with their fallen leader and other wounded aboard their Caddy. Tupac informs the other BALLINbots that Chad is in critical condition. Before his death, Chad calls on 50 Cent to assume command of the BALLINbots and tries to give him the PSTriple, asserting that dat Triple is the bomb, nigga. The Triple falls out of Chad's hand, but is caught by Anthony Perez, who passes it to 50 Cent. Chad's monitor then flatlines and he turns gray and dies, much to the others' grief. The Caddy's shortage of fuel prompts Nintendo to eject some fanboys and Nick Bass. The remaining fanboys argue over who should lead them. The Nintendo castoffs encounter the Wii, who offers to give Nick Bass and the others new honeys on the condition that they destroy the PSTriple, which the Wii says is the only thing that can defeat it. Nick Bass reluctantly agrees and the Wii converts him into a new form: the Nintendo warrior "Nick Daddy". His underlings are reformatted into fatass gay niggaz. The Wii provides them with a Caddy in which they travel to H-Town, where Nick Daddy obliterates Reggie and re-takes command of Nintendo. On Earth, the BALLINbots are alerted as the Wii consumes H-Town's moons, along with some true niggaz. Nick Daddy leads Nintendo in another assault on BALLIN City. The BALLINbots board a pair of Caddies and flee toward H-Town. Anthony and the Fanboys are shot down over the Mexican border, while 50 Cent and company evade their pursuers and set down in Tampa Florida for repairs. Captured by illegal Mexican niggaz, Anthony and the Dreamcast witness the sentencing and execution of some fat bitch. While imprisoned they meet a gay nigga who tells them about the Wii before he is eaten by the Mexican niggaz. Anthony and the Dreamcast are subjected to a mock trial by Mario, who sentences them to death. Battling the Mexican niggaz, they are rescued by the arrival of the Fanboys. With help from the Fanboys' new ally elChivofr, the group locates a Caddy and departs to join the other BALLINbots.

When the BALLINbots arrive Anthony crashes their Caddy through one of The Wii's controllers and they find themselves separated within its ass. The Mexican Niggaz fight back against The Wii, but The Wii crushes their Caddy. Inside The Wii, Anthony confronts Nick Daddy while the lil fat bitch and the other BALLINbots rescue the survivors of The Wii's assault on H-Town's moons. The BALLINbots and Nintendo work together to fight The Wii. Nick Daddy tries to assist Anthony, knowing that The Wii is a greater threat, only for The Wii to force Nick Daddy to run up on a nigga. Anthony recovers the PSTriple and unleashes its power, transforming him into A BALLIN' True Nigga. Anthony throws Nick Daddy into space, then unleashes the Triple's true power, obliterating The Wii. Anthony leads the BALLINbots out of The Wii before it explodes. The BALLINbots reclaim H-Town. The Wii's deal-dough orbits H-Town as a new satellite.

Set in H-town, the movie follows a PS3 Fanboy named Chad Warden (A.K.A. "C-Wizzy"), who has dreams of becoming a great Fanboy like his idol Tupac. His master (Jim Jones) explains that he has touched the final level of PSTriple fanboy accomplishment known as "The Last Faggot". Gay niggaz who reach this final level are said to be able to concentrate such HOMO energy into their hands that they begin to glow. Only a true PSTriple master would be able to exhibit "Deal-Dough" over his entire body. Chad doesn't fully understand and, in possession of a medal supposedly belonging to Tupac, Chad embarks upon a journey to find Master 50 Cent, whom his master claims can help Chad unlock the power of "Deal-Dough". A fag hater, PSA Guy (played by himself) (A.K.A "The FAGGOT!!! Guy") sees Chad as the only obstacle to ridding the world of HOMOs. Chad refuses to fight him and a furious PSA Guy vows that he will defeat Chad. PSA Guy and his gang later break in and assault one of the students at Chad's HD Gaymes school, Anthony Perez (also played by himself), demanding that Chad bow before PSA Guy. Finally, PSA Guy and his gang attempt to send a message to Chad by destroying the Warden family P1ZZ4 restaurant. Meanwhile, Nintendo fanboy Nick Bass (Again, played by himself) sends his men to kidnap that Asian bitch from Chad's sushi video in the hopes of getting his Wii featured on her Youtube channel. The kidnap attempt is thwarted by Chad who easily fends off the thugs. He loses his medal during the struggle, which the Asian bitch recovers. Later, Chad witnesses Asian Bitch being kidnapped by Bass' brutish henchman M6. A clue left behind reveals that the kidnappers work for Nick Daddy. Asian bitch refuses to promote the Wii on her program, but as Bass' men prepare to coerce her by force, Chad suddenly bursts into the room and rescues dat Asian bitch once again. Back at her apartment, Asian bitch gratefully returns Chad's medal. Consumed with vengeance, Nick Bass hires PSA Guy to defeat Chad and takes control of the Youtube studio, capturing Asian bitch and this one lil' fat bitch, who has snuck in hoping to woo dat Asian bitch. Posing as a P1ZZ4 GUY, Chad manages to infiltrate the assumed lair of Master 50 Cent within a dro factory, but is shocked to discover that the "Master" ain't ballin. Chad consults his former master for answers, but his master suggests that Chad has known the answers all along. Not wanting anyone to get hurt in the process of achieving its stardom, the Wii leaves Nick Bass and asks Anthony to warn Chad about his plan. As Chad returns to H-town, he is ambushed by an army of gay niggaz hired by Bass. Chad's students, led by Anthony, charge into the Caddy to even the odds. Using Asian bitch as bait, Nick lures Chad to a poor, bitch-ass cardboard box where he finally faces off against PSA Guy. PSA Guy reveals his ability to use "Deal-Dough", his hands pulsating with a GAY aura, and beats Chad viciously before attempting to force him to acknowledge PSA Guy as "The Master". As recent events flash before Chad's eyes, he realizes that his former Master was correct and that everything he needed to achieve the "Final Level" was within him all along. His entire body bathed in the sublime golden light of "Deal-Dough", Chad uses his new-found power to easily defeat PSA Guy. Nick Bass appears and fires a single bullet which Chad catches between his teeth before detaining Nick Bass for the police. The Asian bitch and Chad are reunited at Youtube where the two kiss.
