Their music has been described as "messing with emo space-time" and "maybe like The Appleseed Cast developed an obsession with harmonies and gang vocals." One of their recent live performances was described as "fucking fabulous" by Kimball's dad. Eventually, Bumblebee discovers that Supergirl's got Ra's' mind-control song stuck in her head and "the only way to get it out is to hit her right in the heart", and informs this to Hal. Hal, Barry and Garth sing the bridge of the song, which is coincidentally ties into snapping Supergirl out of the trance, while the other Super Hero Girls hug Supergirl tightly. Garth's high-pitched note causes the Demon Fang to break, forcing Ra's to retreat, and Supergirl lands on stage and starts dancing to the rest of the song alongside the other Super Hero Girls, Hal, Barry and Garth.

Throughout her time with the rest of the group, she rediscovered her hatred for Kraven the Hunter for the murders of her father and grandfather and overcame her desire to kill him herself with the aid of Spider-Man. She controls herself naturally and helps the others with that too. She is the only student in the group that gets better grades than Peter Parker, other than Amadeus Cho. One of her deepest fears is failing school and not graduating. Oddly, her hair changes color depending on whether she's wearing her suit or not. Her hair is dark brown when she's not, and black when she is. Joe Hendry has been a musician for 10 years, and has incorporated his prior career into his professional wrestling work. As a face, Hendry was known for flamboyant ring entrances, usually parodying a famous song to mock his opponent. In ICW, he was known as the "Local Hero", referring to a section of Kerrang! named "Local Heroes" that Hendry had appeared in, as to make fun of his "lack of musical success".
