Jack is Chita's "friend with benefits". They are not a canon couple, and have never mention that they were dating, but it is implied on many occasions that Chita and Jack have sex often. Chita loves the Halo franchise. Chita believes that by reading Us Weekly, watching the Daily Show, and studying The Secret, she can build a time machine and be a comedic version of a modern day Nostradamus. Jack and Phil are challanged to a drag race by the local troublemakers. Will they win and gain glory or lose and have to get make overs at Cherry Pie's salon?! Jack has his Jeepney shipped all the way from the Philippines and wants to get it customized. Meanwhile, Phil challenges Jerome and Jamar to a race.

"Every Man a King" is a song cowritten by Louisiana's Governor and United States Senator Huey Long and Castro Carazo. Long was known for his political slogan "Every man a king," which is also the title of his 1933 autobiography and the catch-phrase of his Share Our Wealth proposal during the Great Depression.

Olivia Nuzzi, the political journalist who allegedly developed a "personal relationship" with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the campaign trail, has left New York magazine amid the fallout from their scandal. On Oct. 21, New York revealed in a statement that Nuzzi, 31, is no longer employed by the outlet, one month after she was placed on leave following allegations that she grew close to Kennedy while covering his independent presidential campaign. The statement said that New York and Nuzzi agreed to "part ways" despite a third-party review concluding that she did not show signs of bias in her reporting. "Last month, the magazine enlisted the law firm Davis Wright Tremaine to review Olivia Nuzzi’s work during the 2024 campaign," the magazine's statement reads.
