While playing Simon & Garfunkel's "Sounds of Silence" some goober faded up a tape of news bulletins of all the war action going on, and the song and the other audio became a weird pastiche. Probably an off -air recording with a slightly wobbly tape recorder. Date unknown.

Program lasted from 1967-73. "Chieu hoi" = "Open Arms", with an understanding of no POW camps for a surrendering soldier.
