The 8th World Robot Conference 2024 opens in Beijing China to promote scientific and technological progress under the new industrial development trends in the world. The International event was jointly organised by the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MIIT), and China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) for eight consecutive years, with the permission of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. It was a prestigious international conference in global robotic industry with the largest scale, the highest standards, and the most intensified resources. The conference pooled the wisdom of experts around the world, attracted to enterprises in the world and displayed the latest scientific and technological achievements, which had guiding significance for innovation and entrepreneurship. The conference had received care and guidance from leaders of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council. President Xi Jinping sent a letter of greetings, Premier Li Keqiang made a written reply, and Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Liu He attended the opening ceremony and relevant activities. The WRC 2024 aims at promoting scientific and technological progress under the new industrial development trends in the world. It will be a good opportunity for participants to network with the international robotic community, to take advantage of international resources, to attract innovation resources, to use the platform for further international cooperation in the field of robotics and constructing long-term cooperation mechanism. WFEO President-Elect Seng Chuan Tan will deliver a keynote speech on global cooperation and sustainable development of robotics in the future, during the 2nd International Forum on Sustainable Development and Cooperation of Robotics on August 22, in the Conference Room AB located on the 2nd floor of Hall C, Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center, Beijing, during WRC 2024.

Nagisa Shiota is the main protagonist and narrator of Assassination Classroom. He is a student in Korosensei's Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School who has a natural talent for assassination despite his overall passive nature. Nagisa is the son of Hiromi Shiota and her presumable ex-husband. His mother had hoped for a daughter so she could experience all the things she had missed as a child through her but got a son instead. As a result, she dictated his life from forcing him to keep his hair long, to being forced to cross-dress and verbally abused him whenever he spoke against her. Her personality also caused her husband to leave her and Nagisa. Nagisa was in Class D during his first two years of middle school before falling into Class 3-E due to poor grades.
