The Daughters of the Dragon are the duo of Colleen Wing and Misty Knight, fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They first appeared as a team in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #32 (January 1977) in a story titled Daughters of the Dragon written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Marshall Rogers. This followed the introduction of each individual character in mid-1970s Iron Fist stories. -Daughters of the Dragon TV series was announced to be in development in 2001, but was never produced. The series would have featured Colleen Wing and two other members. -Misty Knight and Colleen Wing appear in Marvel's Netflix television series, portrayed by Simone Missick and Jessica Henwick, respectively. Following their introductions in Luke Cage and Iron Fist, the pair return in the miniseries The Defenders.

After the Game Freak Gigaleak in mid-October 2024 revealed an unreleased Pokémon lore story about a Typhlosion kidnapping a young girl and making her give birth to a half-human, half-Pokémon hybrid, internet users began posting memes and jokes about how Typhlosion is "Not Like Us" (among other memetic content), and how the meme trend surrounding him resembles memes about Vaporeon like the character's infamous copypasta.

Princess Yona/Lena/Rina is the titular protagonist of the manga and anime series, Akatsuki no Yona. She began to understand that Soo-Won had usurped the throne to fix King Il's mistakes and to turn Kouka into a powerful nation. However, she too decided to protect her father's people in his stead and to make amends in some way in her position as princess. Along the way, she changed from a sweet but naive girl, to a fearless and toughened warrior, while still maintaining grace, compassion and integrity.

Even the shyest of birds occasionally have their spicy moments... deciding to wear a sheer skirt out for a day of shopping was already a bold move, but after picking up a few new toys at his favourite toy store he got a little too carried away and the idea entered his head that trying one out in public would be an exciting way to spend the afternoon. Slipping it in somewhere discrete, not too worried about it being visible through the sheer fabric figuring his tailfeathers and general fluff would do a good enough job hiding it from view, he settled down at a nearby coffee shop. Unfortunately for poor Addie, the toy ended up being considerably more effective than he had expected. Suffice it to say, everyone around had a pretty good idea what was going on, and given his state there wasn't much he could do about it except wait for his body to calm down enough for him to be able to walk away... Fortunately, this kind of thing is well tolerated and often even enjoyed his his world, so he shouldn't get into much trouble. Judging by the subtle shake of the camera though, we may be viewing this through someone's phone recording... that's what you get for trying out toys in public, Addie!

Sherri Martel was one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of all time, she excelled in a managerial role as well. After “Macho Man” Randy Savage split with Miss Elizabeth during the long-running program with Hulk Hogan that led to their main-event match at WrestleMania 5, “Sensational” Sherri stepped in to help create one of the greatest partnerships of the Golden Era. Savage and Sherri were both excellent heels and worked beautifully together. When the pair split after two years at WrestleMania 7, Sensational Sherri hooked up with “The Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase for a brief time before partnering up with a young Shawn Michaels in 1992 as The Heartbreak Kid was just beginning his singles career after splitting with Marty Jannetty. Sherri sang the original version of HBK’s famous entrance theme, “Sexy Boy,” and Michaels has long credited her with helping his career. Sherri Martel left WWE in 1993 and soon after signed with ECW, where she managed Shane Douglas. She joined WCW in 1994 and worked alongside Ric Flair for a short time before becoming the manager for Harlem Heat. Genocyber: The Beauty Devil from Psychic World is a 1992 Japanese manga series by Tony Takezaki. One volume of the manga has been published, but the multi-volume story arc remains unfinished. The published book was adapted by Koichi Ohata into a five-part original video animation (OVA) series in 1994. The plot of the anime differs significantly from the manga. Both are notable for their extreme graphic violence. The OVA was produced by Bandai Visual and released in North America by U.S. Manga Corps. Genocyber was also released by Manga Entertainment's UK and Australian Divisions in The Cyberpunk Collection but only episodes 1-3 were released in these regions; this collection also included two other cyberpunk OVAs, Cyber City Oedo 808 and A.D. Police Files. The remaining two parts were not released into English until U.S. Manga Corp obtained the rights and had Central Park Media dub the remaining two episodes that were not dubbed by Manga UK.
