Wally, the original emo kid (Monkey Island 2)
Created on: July 25th, 2006
Wally the cartographer has a dramatic breakdown after merely having his monocle stolen. Guybrush, being the mighty pirate that he is, finds this hilarious. (Animation taken from MI2, unedited. Watch for an authentic in game typo!)

For the record, I didn't make this YTMND because I'm a heartless bastage who thinks losing a parent is funny, but because I wanted to highlight a sort of unexpected, WTF moment in Monkey Island history. One of the items Guybrush must take in order to complete the game is Wally's monocle. The fact that the MI writers had Wally overeact to this by way of his added mopey, guilt inducing dialogue is outlandish and humorous.
These Monkey Island sites go on for a very long time. Which makes them funnier. Post script: That conan one was totally ripped from a site someone else made...I haven't been able to find it, it may have been one of the 400,000. I think that was one of the last ones that I totally stole without editing. I have come a long way since then...I hope.
