Got an 8 but I'm whiter than Bob Saget. Although it is kind of unfair to make a test like this. As a white person I wouldn't be able to tell where certain people are from in Europe by face alone. The only thing that would give it away would be accent or behavoir, and those are always missleading. Still, fun little game.
there are differences, but its subtle. It's in the facial structure. Japanese faces are more like, altaic/mongol looking with more defined features like cheek bones etc (also more wonky teeth i've noticed), wheras Chinese (Han Chinese that is) have more of that classic "moon face" look, less definition. Also sometimes japanese have like more of a distinctive bronzed sorta skin tone.
Mirokunite - Your name implies that your claim of a 9/10 is a shameless lie. The basic premise of this is that it's pure guesswork - I'm willing to bet that these photos were chosen specifically because they had very few racially dominant characteristics for their area. You're not skilled at identifying Asians, no matter how much of a useless Japophile you are. Anyone who got higher than 5/10 simply beat the odds at a game of guesing. Anyone who says they got 8/10 or higher is lying.
