EARTHTMND Resize to see! (UPDATED)
Resize the window! Up and down! It can be hard to see, but try to look for continents in the tiny dots. Antarctica is the easiest to find. Remember you can rotate the earth on 2 axis.

This is incredible.

It took me a while to understand what was going on, and once I understood what was going on, I couldn't for the life of me understand what was going on. So I looked at the asset pages, and voila! Innovation at its finest! I sincerely hope this gets the attention it deserves. Because this is incredible.

This is a great idea, except the dots are too far apart.
Add some more dots to make it a little easier to actually see anything.
Then you'll get a 5.

I think there's a great idea here, but it's just too damn hard to see anything. Do you have to be running on a lower resolution or something? Seriously, those dots are freakishly tiny. Tried it in both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

You try fitting the world into a 800*800 image without tiny dots!

Drag window up/down to rotate it rightside-up.

I can get it rightside-up. When I look at the U.S; for example, I see New York on the left side and Los Angeles on the right.

It helps a lot to have a 50 inch plasma tv for a computer monitor. Very nice.

This is straight up brilliant—the implementation reminds me of a zoetrope or lenticular trading card. My questions is: what did you use to generate the image behind the mask?
