Although we're referring to that much-loved thug Che , 'anti-hegemonic' would've made a bit more sense since you mention groups i.e. forces. Such "oppressed groups" being established as 'forces' in your statement isn't anti-hegemony in its truest sense anyway, hence the oft-contradictory term being so outdated. Anyone else find it ironic how "followers of Christ" are insulting the YTMND maker? I mean, Christian's before Constantine refused to carry arms and participate in the military, but when Constantine got his hands on the religion those morals seemed too inconvenient for him, just like love thy neighbor as you would love yourself seems quite inconvenient for many other self-proclaimed Christian's on YTMND.

Nabeshin debuted in Excel Saga (and he also directed it) he show up randomly in all the series he directs, including Puni Puni Poemy, Tenchi Muyo GXP, Nerima Daikon Brothers (a great parody of Blues Brothers) and The Wallflower. Oh c'mon...isn't it obvious? It's the same reason ytmnd'ers love seeing the same jokes over-and-over-and-over again. We like being reminded of what we like. Persistent nostalgia sites are probably the best evidence of this, as they show that we like being reminded of being reminded of what we like.
