it does sound like lion-o!! also, Catholics do not worship Mary the way ancient religions did Estarte. Mary is venerated (respected) as a saint and the mother of God. Back in the days of Estarte-worship many Christians (many of them Christian Roman centurians) were executed for refusing to bow down to the pagan gods of Rome. Just like modern Catholics do not worship modern pagan gods. also raptor jesus is in your base.
I find it endlessly ironic how individuals like darkreign perpetuate the same manner of ill-informed, unscholarly presumptions as those religious zealots they so despise. While it’s clear to any rational person that Christ was about as divine as any street magician, the fact remains that there is no empirical evidence that Christianity is the sole derivative of earlier religious practices.
The documentary in question has been proven by those with legitimate expertise to be poorly-researched, irrational, and intentionally misleading. Most of the information presented is predicated upon flawed and thoroughly-discredited 19th Century theosophical writings such as Frazer’s The Golden Bough. Some modern researches dealing exclusively in documentation from the era have forwarded some intriguing theories, but at present they remain simply that: theories.

Like I said, take if for what you will. There are some things that I, personally, find truthful about it, and there are other things that I find totally absurd. My original intention was not for this to be a joke site, but rather, my intention was to post a YTMND about something interesting I had viewed. That is all.

This is just christen fear mongering. Instead of trying to evolve christianity funimentalist christians will take down other religions to make there seem better, or truer. The funny thing is that many traditions of Christianity are based on pagan rituals. Both Christmas and Easter were originally pagan holidays that were transformed into Christian ones. So the guys who accuse Islam and the other form of Christianity (Catholicism) of being paganistic have no room to talk.

history lesson.Catholism was an invention made by using pagan religions to steal ideas from.Also,Satan means morning star which is what JEsus Christ was born under and so one of the names of Jesus is Satan.Another term for Satan is the Goddess of Love since the morning star was Venus and Venus represented love and nourishment.Also,their was a babylonian king who took it upon himself to call himself Satan because he thought he was as great as the morning star and he was a saddam type of person.
