Some insane Japanese guy made this "music video" entirely in ASCII art. I've converted it to a GIF and uploaded it to YTMND. Enjoy! Note that a fast computer and Firefox are recommended to avoid sync issues.

I've actually tried to track down the guy who's made this. I was referred to a Japanese site, but apparently the guy doesn't run the site anymore, and he's pretty much disappeared. As to the "not my work" comment? 99% of the stuff on YTMND isn't the work of the poster... even the high-rated stuff. For example, the Blue Ball Machine was not posted by SA, the folks who made it, IIRC.

Pretty awesome. You need a better quality MP3 of Princess Bride and the syncing needs work. No reason a 4000 X2 Athlon with 2 gigs of ram running a fresh install of Firefox should lag like that, bub.

Hooooooolysh*t. I'm going to five this just for the shear immensity of time and effort that had to go into it, reguardless of the poster. A masterpiece like this deserves no less. Azumanga Daioh isn't really all that great though.

http://www.chiyochan.net/azu/Azumanga-Princess.swf found the origonal! so it isnt his work, it still something thats worth seeing. glad he brought it to our attention so i could find this! good show!
