An older spelling, that's all. Since 1690 it has been known as catchup, ketchup, catsup, and kitchup. 'Catsup' hasn't been in common use since the 1730s, but you still see it around. The confusion came from the fact that the word itself came from Chinese and Westerners had trouble agreeing on how to spell it with our Latin alphabet.
