I have a friend who teaches high school history. Last year he taught his first lesson on the 9/11 attacks. Over, as in more than, half of his class HAD NO CLUE WHAT HAPPENED ON 9/11/01. They were shocked when they were told about the terrorist attacks. Let me say that again. They were SHOCKED. FIVE YEARS LATER THEY HAD ALREADY COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN. Don't underestimate the ignorance of America's youth.
