I hadn't thought about it like that before. Not sure that it matters but i guess the stat holds up. I live outside cleveland, work about 1/2 a mile away from the school. I did hear that this guy was what ytmnder's would call emo. Had all the makings of it, gothed out clothes, black painted fingernails, worshiped manson. But also, he was FOURTEEN!!!!! I honestly think at 14 its just a PHASE that a lot of people (a lot of us here, even,) go through and pass through.
Also, the media giving these school shootings the phenominal amount of coverage they do helps contribute to crap like this. As a depressed 14 year old, what are you thinking. Your thinking you could go out as a rock star by doing sh*t like this, because you see how famous you will become. At least by 18 or 19, your smart enough to know better (most are.) So then the question i guess is how did the 14 year old get the GUN.
So many people don't actually think for themselves. They follow patterns and draw from past experience to form their opinions. They live every day like that. Now does that make them crazy? No, I think that makes them normal. But that also leaves me feeling like a sane person amongst a world of madmen, or maybe a madman who can't comprehend your sanity. Either way, it comes down to one thing. Justice and logic are relative, which means there essentially is no justice or logic.

Despite the fact that logic (as we know it: a system of reasoning- obviously things in nature will follow a logical course) does not exist outside of the human perspective, it still holds that it is unfair to claim that it too is relative. This is where things get interesting. 1+1=2; that is a logical conclusion that can be based on reproducible observation, and there is no way you can claim otherwise unless you are in Soviet Russia.
Justice and logic are not relative once you have the strength and presence of mind to find the truth, the wisdom and temperance to see what is just, and the will and fortitude to enforce it uncompromisingly. If justice and logic are relative it is only human failings that make them so. But if all we strive to be is mere human beings then all our lives are the lives of animals and not men. It is the act of reaching for something beyond our current ability that makes us human.
Thats because they know the situation and arent just some jackass sitting on the sidelines. They realize that pulling out of iraq now would be a bigger mistake than going in was. Obviously going into iraq was a bad idea but this isnt vietnam where there was a stable government ready to take over. If we pull out it would be chaos.
No offense to you, but what do you mean by "front-runners"? Who the corporate media tells you is the frontrunner? If you didn't listen to (or read) the corporate media from last year to a right before the election, then simply watched an unbiased hour interview with each and read through their voting record, who would you consider the frontrunner? Unless you lived in one of their states, Clinton would be the one and only Dem frontrunner because of her husband. Don't let the media tell you who is winning.
I'm not disputing that he's an idiot, and his comment was worded in a racist way, but there is some inkling of a valid point here. Adolescent murder-suicides are typical of rich, spoiled emo brats (and creepy, monkey-faced Nazis who name their kids like a class of f*cking battleships). For various socioeconomic reasons, these idiots tend to be "white".
It doesn't make you racist, simply an observant individual. Hip-hop culture actively promotes drugs, crime, gun violence, and does so seriously. Additionally, hip-hop culture degrades women, promotes bigotry against gays, whites, and foreigners, and is generally an example humanity at its lowest ebb. Is it racist? No, just an opinion. Deal with it.
And Yoda, I'm not a rock fan, either. Simply someone on the outside looking in making notes of what I see. Sure, from the inside looking out it may be different, but the view from without is just as important as the view from within. Why? Because society is influenced by perception, and regardless for how much we disregard the opinions of others ultimately the opinions of others define us in the eyes of our peers.
There's too much emphasis on race in murders. White kid kills black kids huge deal. Black kids beat the sh*t out of white kid huge deal. Somewhere in your nearest ghetto a black man just shot a black man and a white man just shot a white man. You'll never hear about it though...it doesn't make for good news.
And this is published by the same group, New Century foundation, which also publishes a monthly WHITE NATIONALIST MAGAZINE called American Reinassance. Anyone who buys this bullsh*t, does it make them a racist? Yes, not to mention horribly, horribly ignorant. This entire report advocates setting imigration policies based on RACE, not on what the individual can bring America. Good f*cking game indeed.
African Americans account for around 14% of the US population but commit 51% of gun crime. Explain the disparity? Racist cops? Ok maybe that accounts for, and im being generous, 10% of the cases. That is still a huge disparity. The stat is based on arrests for gun crimes not convictions as well. So save your whiny liberal bullsh*t. Blame it on whatever you want, socioeconomics, The Man, or biology if you're a racist. Facts be facts, n*gg*.
You know what. F*ck high school click mentality. It's what causes all this greed and destruction in this country. It even causes this bullsh*t, sterotypes and sh*t. Seriously, clicks are all about "elitism" and pride and materialism are the two things that destroy this country, both of which are tightly twined into clicks. F*ck.
