A few buddies of mine went to the Feb 10th protests and all they saw were a bunch of fatasses who have never seen the light of day protesting the activities of a PRIVATE INSTITUTION. And yes, I've seen "The truth behind Scientology." Simple fact is that Scientology steals money from dumbasses and distributes it to people who are actually smart, like celebrities and sci-fi authors. Why protest that?

I think the goal of these "Raids" isn't so much to convince Scientologists to abandon their faith- they can't help it; they've been suckered into it- and I think the hardest thing to do is to convince someone to change their beliefs. The event is about information, and letting people who haven't (yet) been suckered into it know what it's all about. I think that's the one reason I have a lot of faith in these events. It's hardly about raiding at all; it's just about spreading the word.
