what gets me about this dude's sites. it's all highly competent in its aesthetic touches. the weird cologne of misshapen music, nostalgic photos, mixed with a creepy but alluring atmosphere in them. i assume this guy is, or was, a famous graphic designer, audio/visual engineer, or something with great cognitive abilities and talents. <br /><br />all of this content is hugely underrated. especially when people of similar motifs or vibes, like the guy who made Cruelty Squad, MDE's intros, or etc. surpass these small sites with less than 10k views.<br /><br />only fucking weirdos like me would have to reminisce about it lol. i say this as I go on my sexpat adventure in Brazil. i fucked over 20+ girls in LATAM over a year btw. it's incredibly easy to get laid here. girls just decide to give it to you. right now, I'm posting about this from one of my dates's homes. she let me live free with her while I go out and date other girls. insane and exploitative, right? but who gives a fuck when YOU GET FUCKING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AS A GUY IN THE WEST ANYWAYS, YOU FUCKING CUNT? I have a great deal of respect for the fact that you were able to turn your YTMND creation talent into a paying gig as a Radio DJ. I get the impression that the number of people who have done this sort of thing here can be counted on one hand, assuming that there is someone else besides you. Though I think Roy4l might have done something similar. For example, I hear that he does the background music for Maddox youtube videos.<br /><br />I also mostly agree with you about the sorts of things that make it to Up and Coming these days. Though I do want to point out that there is at least one noteworthy exception I can think of within the past 3 months. I apologize for bragging, but I released a site in late November which I feel can stand toe to toe against many of the classics which made YTMND famous. Though probably not among the VERY best of them, though. In fact, when it was released on Thanksgiving, it literally had 30 people vote 5 on it in a row. I understand the relation to the current state of YTMND. How the site and the oldest contributors deal with the decline is shocking, but also positively so. <br /><br />It is a downward spiral, but to be honest, this stuff here reminds me of Roy4L's best works back then. <br /><br />YTMND is having another golden age as it nosedives. Can this shit be archived somehow?
