nah, all terms are relative terms - look up any word in the dictionary, and all you're going to get are more words. that's just the law of supplementarity.

my problem with Expert is the power which presumes to reside in the word. it isn't just an example of the most skilled, also it tend to define what "skilled" means in a given field.

so I don't find it as practical and clear as you do. to me it's at best ambiguous and at worst unjustifiably arrogant to claim expertise over a subject. but hey, if it's working for you, carry on...

more proficient, incredibly more skilled, more trustworthy with my precious brains - these are all comparisons I can get behind. but more of an expert?

the stoics had it wrong. they thought ideas were invisible entities which floated all around us. to them, our minds worked by literally reaching out with a mental hand and "grasping" something. 'at's why the hens of a monkey's prehensile tale is the same found in comprehension.

they were wrong because knowledge is not an object outside of ourselves that we then take it through our perceptions. rather, knowledge is created discursively (from agreement among all of us) and is the result of the relationship between ourselves and the things perceived, the signifiers and the signifieds as they call it.

knowledge is a process...and a political one at that. fuck-cult found knowledge to be inseparable from power. I tend to agree with him, but then, he's a pretty powerful figure.

so, since you asked, my point is that the term, Expert, implies that knowledge is a thing rather than an activity, and one that can be done alone.

You're being disingenuous. The injustice wasn't people earning money fairly. The injustice was "the system's" (pick one) historic bias. If you disagree with that, you've clearly seeing more diversity amongst the powers that be (presidents, c.e.o.'s, robber barons, etc.) than I have.
And that millionaires cooperate was sort of my point: socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor.

....? I don't get it. There's no car, and the chopper he's on isn't in a car, or going into a car. A chopper bike is called the same thing as the nickname for a helicopter (chopper), I guess is the joke? Sorry, but this is a power fail.
New World Order

The term New World Order was expressed several times in recent history, with regard to what appeared to be a dramatic change in world political thought and international balance of power - closed.

Who first used the term was widely President Woodrow Wilson, in immediately after the First World War, during the creation of the League of Nations. "War to end all wars" was a strong catalyst for international politics, and many felt that the world simply can not continue to operate as before. Term disappears when we use it is clear that the League does not create such order, and there again a few times during the creation of the United Nations. After the Cold War the term was expressed by many, among them prominent former U.S. president George HW Bush. Their feeling was that the end of the Cold War will be dramatic effects on the global balance of power, including hope for the end marks the beginning of a new era of international cooperation through the United Nations.
I disagree; tourism, communications and possibly in the next 20 years power generation will, increasingly augment scientific research as a profit generator in space. Both smaller countries and corporations will want their own satellites.

The private does exist on profit, but that is a good thing insofar as it tends to keep costs down while simultaneously marketing "space" to create demand where it may not have existed prior.

I'm not arguing with you that the immense resources government can leverage are generally needed for major public infrastructure and entering new frontiers; you mention the EIC, there you find the crown, merchants and speculators working together. Jamestown before it was a colony was a corporate settlement out to exploit resources; similarly, before space is seriously occupied there will need to be someway to generate wealth. Government can facilitate but is self interested individuals who will really take us there.

Well if you had replicators and warp reactor drives to power them, then you could end world hunger and poverty overnight. Therefore, no one needs money anymore because they just push a button on the panel and make whatever they want. And you don't need to spend money on women anymore because of the all the holodecks and alien girls everywhere. Of course, the inventor of the transporter/replicator had to tranport all the lawyers and patent clerks into the sun while no one was looking.
