I'm surprised to see deleted scenes on their website. interesting, I guess this reference just wasn't big enough for most of the audience to understand... they'd likely have to do part of an episode showing one of the characters watch the site before people really knew what it meant

Yes it is from Bomberman, there is a scene at the end where the boss sets down in front of Bomberman, showing him in the scene, but the gif was big enough as it is, and so I left that part out.

Probably not fake. Our residence hall used to have movie nights on wednesdays where they'd go buy a movie then show it on a big projector for everyone. Then some gay RIAA equivalent of movies f*gs sued/threatened the University. So movie night was cancelled but continued informally, it was just never advertised on walls and such.

i'm naive and have too much faith in the goodness of YTMND sometimes. I think a big problem right now is YTMND got so big that it became more difficult and infrequent for sites to play off each other and people still get it. single standalone ytmnds that dont push the site forward are more prevalent. sometimes thats good (ie AskAaks consistently original material) but other times its very bad (hey guys! check out this hilarous prank call from a morning show I recorded!)
