Honestly Max, whatever you do I stand by you. But I like the idea of deleting all sites under 1.99 or something like that. Why not have something like Newgrounds flash portal where everything that comes in has to be judged to be decided on whether we keep it or not..but yes you should just take a break for a bit. Max. GucheHair should catch your attention when you first see this comment. I know that you wont take it seriously and consider it another whiny complaint, but this is serious. He used many alts, approximately 20-40, to downvote one of our great sites, NES of a down. He is destroying the one list that defines "Hey look, new, funny, and fresh content that you can enjoy laughing at" and that you can come back everyday to find more. The first thing you can do to save this site is delete him. Thats it.

Max, a simple message. VIEW YOUR OWN DAMN SITE. If you are supposedly spending all day every day coding. That time could be innumerably better spent deleting, even if one at a time, the horrible sh*t on newly created. There are many honest people who spend often amounts of time viewing Ytmnd. I'd like to think that I am one of them. If you can't spend the time to screen for content, write a parameter that will delete every site under 2 stars in the database.

Max, I agree that ads may be a necessary evil. Do whatever you feel is necessary to ensure this sites survival. To reduce worthless sites, why not delete all those which have had very few (if any) views during a period of x months and/or all sites with a rating of less than 1.5 (they never get viewed anyway)

I don't think many (or any) accounts were added to the queue and then when max cleared it only a handful of the sites and users actually got deleted.

What I say that could be arranged instead of banning/deleting me (other users may or may not agree with this) but perhaps you could make it so I can;t vote, comment, or even make sites. Even if I could just login or whatever that would be fine with me, I know I have screwed you over really bad max but I would at least like to show people the work I have created. Maybe something like this could be arranged?

why not delete USERS who post useless and unhelpful comments? but beyond that, as regards the hall of fame, there should be some method of nominating potentially worthy sites, but the ultimate decision should come down to max or super-mods. maybe featured users or those with hall of fame sites could have a say as well.

We need some "official" sort of contests. Like something once a week, some sort of theme that max decides on. There should be a seperate box for it on the front page. It should be moderated in a way that any sites not related to the chosen theme are deleted.

If your concern is great enough, try sending a private message to a moderator or two. Should the user whom you're reporting be abusive enough, their sites can be NSFW'd (if necessary) and reported to Max for review/deletion. This is only for abuse (large quantities of spam, molesting a user, etc...) Mere disapproval of content is unlikely to get anything done, since it is a not a moderator's duty to judge sites solely by their content preferences.

Hey Max, I have an idea regarding donations. How about anyone who has donated a certain amount has more powers over the interactive elements of YTMND? Like, maybe not weighted site voting, but more comment upvoting/downvoting. The ability to DELETE COMMENTS for those who have donated a certain amount. And it would really be cool if your Sponsorships This Week page would show the top users that have donated money "of all time." I'm curious to see what that looks like.
