if lincoln had not waged his war, there would be no racial tension b/w the white and black communities. slavery would have grown obsolete with new technology, and the white slave owners would have let slaves go on their own terms. the KKK was formed because of white resentment to having what they believed to be their property taken away. if the war was never waged and the confederate states of america was around, it would be a land where only those affected by a decision can vote on it, w/o a federal gov

I can understand many of your views on Lincoln and would have to agree with a several of them, some of them, however, I completely disagree with. But when it comes to FDR, I'm sorry, but you're almost completely wrong. Especially how you describe the "Great Depression" in American history as a "Flourishing Capitalist Economy." I would love for anyone to have told that to all the families in the dust bowl and all those stock brokers right before killed themselves when the stock market crashed.

Well since I've 1 STAR'ed and left the comment "Too Soon" in every YTMND that mocks death, 9/11, ect, no matter how old news it is, it's been pretty much a RUNNING JOKE with me. I've recently left the " ! Star/Too Soon" on a Lincoln assasination site, several Kennedy sites, 9/11 sites, an FDR site, Crock hunter, school shooting sites,---- I'd say I'm pretty consistant with it.

I'm not trying to feel hardcore. That would be pointless. Apparently however, you fail to see the juxtaposition in it's absurdity, and if you were able to comprehend any manner of quxiable humor, you would be able to extract the fact that a Shoot Lincoln banner is the least "disturbing" type of banner, yet inherently funnier than the others due to it's arrival in the succession of the banners and also coupled with the fact that is a direct callback to the string of "too soon" comments that have been left.

After being denied 3 times, the band finally were given a recording contract by Warner Music Group. They later had to change their name after finding out another group had already taken the name Hybrid Theory. They named themselves Lincoln Park after driving past an actual park named Lincoln Park. But when registering for a URL, www.lincolnpark.com was already taken. They then changed the letters around to try and find a way around it, and ended up getting www.linkinpark.com

Well Ron Paul disagrees with Lincoln and civil war. It wasn't about slavery it was about the Federal government overruling states rights. But yes, looking at party lines and identity politics is no way to vote.
